Hey everyone, the LCD manual could not be displayed on the WDP site so I have a few questions. What thread is the barrel, what does the volumizer kit do, and what should I know about this gun?

Here is a pic, its in great condition and I get to pick it up tomorrow

barrel thread is in the sticky and info on the volumizer is in there too, but to save you time it has old/ origional threads and volumizers don't do squat for the led, lcd, and ir3. only the 03/04 speeds-Gat benefit from volumizers, but to use a volumizer on a g7 platform marker you need need to modify it because of the new valve stem design. the reduce the operating pressure to prevent drop off, but you loose a bit of efficiency.

It's g7 threads, the first ones.

Volumizers prevent drop offs.

The gun is awesome.

sonny, volumizers don't help HP platform markers because the lpr is in front of the valve and its guts, so putting one on the right tube just adds more space for air in front of the lpr, which does nothing. putting one on the left tube doesn't do anything because the only thing in there is the battery.

edit: did you ever make a new feed back thing so i can leave you some negative feed back?

Don't volumizers, in general, prevent drop offs? He just asked what they do, so I told him...I know putting one on the lpr side does nothing, I've been told that numerous times Chunk.

And no not yet...lol

A volumizer does just what it sounds like: it adds volume. As you increase volume you are able to lower pressure. On an HP platform angel like an LCD, a volly is purely cosmetic, as it's adding volume where none is desirable.

Nice LCD, by the way. Looks like Apollo milling. Very classy.

And when it adds volume, it prevents drop offs right?

It could theoretically by giving the valve a larger chamber to draw from, but the main purpose is to lower operating pressure.

*edit* Any HP tank will work fine. When you look for a barrel, you want "Old Style", "Original" or "G7" angel threads, not to be confused with "New Style", "06" or "G7 Fly" threads.

Hey guys, im also looking for a flat trigger for my LCD.. It has the sexy lady trigger on it now, and its just too rigid for me.

Also a new clamping feedneck if any will fit my angel. does the stock one just screw out?

Sure will, any angel threaded feedneck will fit and the stock feedneck depending on if it was lok-tited or not should be reletively easy to remove...

None of mine are however, just prepare for the worst lol
