holy crap i just thot of sumthing
ok i had this idea to fire a spider marker by using a ram to pus the valve but i decided to use a dual action to be more consistent. and now tht i think of it when i pull the trigger and it moves a rod in the 3-way. what if i hold the trigger too long then the ram stay forward still hitting the valve so the valve could be open for more then it is supposed too. AND i cant pull the trigger the same amount of time every pull and the blowback gases isnt enuff to push a ram back when it wants to go forward. MAMA MIA what do i do?

when you make the ram go forward it wont make the poppet stay open even if you held the valve open. kinetic energy and inertia is what makes poppets open. Also, the pressure that the ram is run at is a lot less than what pressure is behind the poppet. thats why you cant just hold down the trigger and the ram will make the poppet stay open. so your fine on that part.

i see what hes talking about. you wont need to worry about that. its the initial force of the ram hitting the valve that opens it briefly. so if you hold the trigger, all that will happen is the ram will stay forward, and you mayu have an air leak from the ram. hes thinking of making an intimidator, only with a mechanical 3-way instead of a board and solenoid. an interesting idea, but its been thought of before
