And your evidence to support this claim is...? And don't compare it to a $100or more Halo B, Pulse, or anything else. I got my Apache for $35 shipped. They are $55 new. What other $55 loaders will get the same performance as the Apache, along with the cool looks of it. They are also quite light.

They are quite amazing hoppers, they keep up with high rates of fire and look pretty cool. And they ARE the lightest motorized hoppers out there, which is pretty nice.

I suspect that like most things there's a happy middle ground.

Oddly enough I just recieved my own Apache to use on my Promaster. I noticed that it's a simple 4 legged star wheel that rotates to agitate the balls into falling into the neck. There's probably a best RPM for that wheel that will aggitate the balls the best. Too slow and it may not let them feed fast enough. Too fast and they'll bounce around too much and not fall into the neck. I'd like to believe that Ricochet picked the right speed or close to it to get the job done. So you're probably best off leaving it alone.

speeding up wouldnt be a good idea, thats a good way to make a blender. but if you use some plastic from something else, and shape it into a rail type thing that leads the balls down (via a "roof" that points into the feedneck) and attaching it somehow.

i had given this a lot of thought when i used my apache on a spyder. lol. hasnt been thought of thet much since.

OK I would try and make it like an egg by making a small "cup" that the balls fall into and the impeller pushes them down the feedneck. I would also see if you could rig some eyes to the board.
