Jobs For Teenagers?

Hey i'm 15 right now going on 16 in November and I was wondering is there very little jobs out there for 15 year olds. I work for my dad every summer but I can't work for him during school because the work times don't go well with school.

I'm kind of looking for a job thats laid back and easy because working with my dad he owns a Plumbing company I go into all the new houses and install all the plumbing. And I hate that kind of work hard labor lifting stuff being outside and inside a hot house all day sweating.

And will more jobs open up at 16 because that seems to be the age that people start getting jobs.

Thanks in advance

mow lawns but that would make you sweat even worse. depending on where your located. and if that doesnt work for you theres always McDonalds. lol but seriously you can mow lawns on the weekends and make enough off of them for gas and food. get you and a friend together you mow let him or her weedeat split the money down the mid. and you can get small yards done in 15 mins. tops and 10 depending on how much crap they have in their yard. and its not that hard to walk behind a push mower and well mow... and gutters/drain pipes in rainy seasons nobody wants leaves and dirt up in their gutters. because if its up there rain doesnt run through it very easy and nobody wants to get up on their roof and do it so you can get soem ok money off of cleaning gutters. so you could always mow and clean gutters to make some $$$. IDK if your goin to take my advice but it could work for a while until you get a real job. plus you get to make your own schedule. cant beat that

i'm shure your dad will work with your schedule to let you keep working with him, just ask if there is any way for you to just work after school. if he says there is no way that will work im sure there are other small businesses around where you live. if no small businesses you could always find a fast food restaurnat like sonic and work there. if you know what sonic is? its a little fast food restaurant where you drive up place your order and they bring your food to you. you can make some pretty good money off tips

first of all, im 15 and im in the same position as u.

lawns are good money, and i would recommend still doing that. thats wat i do right now(but all the lawns are dead)

if u play a sport, then ref little kids. i hear thats good money and pretty easy. im doin that in the fall for hockey.

A LOT more jobs will open up wen u are 16. most places around here require u to be 16, so its tough for me. shenk and tittle is 15 and thats a really cool store. most ice cream parlors are 15. try working at a restaurant(not a franchise) but that might be some labor

If you have not started school yet or its not to late to change your schedule. Take wecep/co-op. Wecep was our schools freshman/soph version of co-op. If your not faimilar with co-op. Its a class where you learn all about the working world. They teach you how to fill out applications/how to be a good employee/interveiw/taxes and all that ****. Basiclly, when I took wecep my freshman year, I was 14. I diddnt even have to fill out an application. They got me an interveiw at subway (dosent hire under 16). I got the job. And also if you keep the job a full year you get an extra school credit.

Hope this helps.

Out of all of my part time jobs I would have to say the best way to make money is mowing yards and other landscaping. You can easily make 20 bucks for a yard that takes 45 minutes to mow. If you can find 5 of those you can make 100 bucks tax free a week for less than 4 hours of labor.

Part time jobs suck, since you are in school any job you work will more than likely have you working all day Saturday and Sunday to make up for your lack of hours during the week.

When I was 16, and a sophomore in High School, I got a job at a local business doing Web-design, graphics, advertising and Internet Orders. I was working 3 hours-a-day, from when school ended to closing, and only 3 days-a-week. My boss has been very chill and I just listen to what he says and stuff. I'm not 17 and going into my senior year in high school. Currently, I work full-time and have replaced the lady that was trained for doing this.

Go out, find someone who needs help, and help them. You'll deffinately be better off with a local business than family (I will not work for family, anymore) or a chain-type company.
