word. either buy a set of torx screwdrivers or just take it to lowes or something and if they sell seperate ones they could prolly size it up.

lol i work at lowes its not as pretty as they present it to the public and if u want tools go only with craftsman i cant tell u how many times someone brings back kobalt tools(lowes tools) they strip very easy. i have craftsman tools from like the 50's (idk they r old) and they still do the job

not only are craftsman better, they have a lifetime warrenty, that really is lifetime. Like on American Chopper Mikey had torched and bent a craftsman wrench because he needed one like that, and brought it to sears at the end of the day and got a new one for free saying "it bent when I was using it"

My dad managed to break a craftsman torque wrench, went to sears, and came back with a new one. I <3 craftsman tools XP

1:get a tiny flathead.

2:insert flathead between the little post and the inside of the screw.

3:pry, the post should snap off.

4: a normal torx or small flathead will now unscrew them. (make sure you get the one under the sticker in the battery compartment)

5:??????

6:do a barrel roll.

7:profit.

QFT. Normal Torx bits are a six pointed star. The tamper resistant ones have a raised circle in the center of it so a standard bit won't go in the hole; the tamper resistant bits have a hole in the center to go around this obstruction.

I don't know if Home Depot or Lowes will carry these; the set that I got I found at Ace Hardware. Lowe's and HD aren't actually hardware stores, they are "home improvement warehouses". You might have to find a good hardware store, or tool store.

Or, there is always Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/LOT-OF-TORX-TAMP...QQcmdZViewItem

Torx. I had to get a T6(Torx 6) screwdriver to disassemble my phone.

lol lol "do a barrel roll" i love tht game. "Fox pres A to boost" (i think its A its iether A or B) its been a while.but the snapping off the little nub i dont thinnk it would work cuz the little scredriver would break first.

Hmm the original xbox didn't have these tamper resistant, I just used a normal torx (on the system not controller). I good luck though.

A regular torx won't. But you should be able to buy the special ones with the hole in the middle. Or you could drill out the center of a regular torx to make it work with the little post inside.

QFT. I work with my hands for a living (Guitars) and I'd buy Craftsman before Kobalt, regardless of cost. Even Home Depot carries brands that are better than Lowes...

(No offense to the Lowes employee.)
