ok does the solenoid have a plunger tht moves so the air move from one sloenoid to the other. and i mean in the middle of the page their is a pneumatic kit.

no, it works just like a solenoid normally does. they have an electronic board hooked up to the noid to actuate it. Nothing special about the kits.

you arent thinking of using those non paintball related items for a paintball gun? are you?
i thought we went over this in your last thread with the 3.99 rams.
stick to products designed for your application, if you have to ask this many questions on how somthing works, then, sadly, it is probabily out of your grasp.

yeah it looks like a 3 way noid. which it is. it has 3 hoses coming from it.
basically it just is an electromagnet that moves a piece that is basically a pin with o-rings on it and it allows air to go into different places depending on where the o-rings are and where the hoses are going.
so if you uderstand the 3 way on a cocker then just think of that, but electronic. it does it for you.

also how much air VOLUME can a noid handle. like can it move enuff air fast enuff to fire a paintball at 300fps. lets say i put a barel on one side of the noid and a air tank on the other side would the noid move the air from the tank to the barrel fast enuf to fire tht paintall or are the noids just for smaller psi in small quantaties.

This is kind of what I've been wondering. In one case, the Ion, a pneumatic solenoid drives the bolt and supplies air to the valve (which is also the bolt due to the spool valve design). On the other hand, cocker solenoids only drive a ram.

no, most definitly not thats why there are no guns like that, well not solenoids that can be powered by reasonable batteries and of reasonable size

the solenoid in ions doesn't supply air to the bolt, it merely flows through a barb to the air chamber, the actual air that fires the ball is in the chamber and is filled up while the gun is at rest, its not constantly flowed out by the noid or regs. The ion bolt is still just a ram as far as what the noid operates, its a one way ram, a cocker is a two way ram.

hmmmm... then how can u move a lot of air in one quick burst? any ideas? i saw noids tht can handle 1,000 psi but they are like 100 dollars.

if you wanted to move alot of air fast you need some sort of primary valve. like all guns. poppet valves. spool valves. slider valves. piston valves.
