karnivor+UL

I have seen a few Karni's with UL frames around the forums. How would i go about doing this? Would it take a lot of modification? I have a Karni with mq which i know makes it easier. I was thinking of using a pm5 UL if i do it. mainly because its so cheap. Would another UL be better? thanks.

Actually, I believe it's fairly easy. I think the hard part is the actual getting the MQ
Props to you if you can do this. I would think it'd be pretty much a matter of bolt and go, assuming you can fit an Eblade board in the UL.

Talk to blackbean in the electronic cocker section, he does it for people. You will need a t-board, much easier to fit an led board inside the ul frame than an lcd.

good luck getting a hold of him. hes been MIA for months now. the hardest part is fitting the board in. you have to actually shave the board in some places. then wire the buttons to to ul holes. the biggest obstical is not ruining your board.

beans been having some serious health lately. You dont have to use a t board, you can use a morrlock board (size of a dime and slightly better than e2 board).

ive seen an e2 board shaved down and barely squeezed into an ul frame. I remember when blackbean was still doing work you could also get breakbeam eyes drilled and installed. he did some pretty awesome stuff.

I know a guy who did it, he's on here, Gatorade.

He used a mini-morlock board since the new ones will allow the use of dual solenoid. And since the thing's so damn tiny, it fit right in there, no problem. I DO believe he he had to mill the frame out somewhere though, But I don't recall why.

i would consider it worth it if i like taking the time to make something your own or you like the feel of the UL frame over the stock karni frame...

And yea i hope Bean gets better soon or at least responds to people because he has $1500 of my stuff....

He did a few of the conversions i have seen and its very sexy... So if u can find a way to do it and make it look precise it looks great....
