Everyone was a Newbie!
|
turborev not working
my turborev 12v was working for 2 saturdays
and last saturday it acted up
and today it doesn't work
it turns on and the music plays but the paddle doesn't move
no colors on the light
yellow light doesn't blink
i put my original board in there and it works fine
batteries are pretty new
any ideas?

If you have one of the very first shipped (the problem was fixed right away) you may have one that had an issue with eyes from Pre-BE revs.
The pre-be eye requires more voltage than the new eye.

light is blinking but motor doesn't work
light but no spinning

I wish I had a hopper that when i turned it on, would say "Hello Dave, you are quite good at turning me on" in the computer voice. That would be sweeeet. Can Wicked air do that to my revvo?

Little problem, could use some help.
Sunday at practice my board worked fine the fist half of the day. Then suddenly it stopped working all together. First thought was empty hopper. nope hopper half full. green light still flashing telling me the board was still on. So I break out a new set of batteries and replace them. Turn board on and I hear the music so i know that my motor works and the board is at least booting up, then the light would flash green to show it was ready. But still no feeding. When I smacked the side of my hopper it would then spin for a second then stop again. Suggestions?

It could be the photo eye. I had an almost new BE rev and it stoped working. I just assumed it was the board. But after getting the turbo rev board and putting it in, it would work intermitently. I replaced the only other part you can replace and it worked.. the photo eye. I had assumed that it might be the eye from the start, but its such a simple part I couldnt imagin it screwing up. If you have your original board, try putting it back in and if you get the same results then I bet its the eye.

WAS, Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and replaced the eye with one I had at home and all is good again. If this happens again ill send you the board for an update. When it was working all that i can say is that it beats everything else hands down. Thanks again for this god send upgrade for our revys.
