orange bolt worth the trouble for pmr?

Is it worth the time/money? Constructive criticism appreciated. Fanboys/haters need not apply.

I hear both those bolts (orange and TechT) make your PMR even more of a gas hog. I remeber someone posting about the orange bolt and saying that he just went back to the stock bolt because it just eats so much gas.

Dye spent alot of time engineering their bolts, they designed the gun to work great w/ the stock, so keep it that way!

orange bolts work well for most other markers (spyders timmys etc) but the stock bolts are often the best for matrix's. I would stiuck with the stock one.

The techt bolt is great, gave me better effciency, and less kick, no idea on orange though.

I had an orange bolt in my PM6 and liked it so much I put it into my PM7. It can be a gas hog, but it does reduce kick. It depends on what you want. There is nothing wrong with the stock bolt.

Why would the Orange Bolt remove the boost forward technology? The Orange Bolt appears to be (though I haven't broken out my calipers yet) an exact replica of the stock bolt only made from different materials.

I have the orange bolt in my pm7, and had the evolve kit in my old dm5(super efficient), and so far I have seen a decrease in both dwell, lpr and the kick is greatly reduced.. I manage to get nearly a case of a full fill (68 - 4,5k) If you have the money, I would go for orange, It`s more similar to the stock bolt, just 30% lighter

Good Luck

I have an orange bolt in my rail, it reduced the kick a little for me. It OK on gas, I shot between 6 and 7 pods on my 68-4500 and still have air to spare. But I honestly can say that its not much different the stock one so I wouldnt waste your money.

Don't waste your money. Stay with the stock bolt then buy a nice gun in a little bit.

Money isn't the problem...I'll probably pick up something different next month. I like tinkering so I actually have an orange bolt on the way.
