Thanks for the continued support. I am still in the testing state as of right now. I will be testing the process on a few parts throughout next week.

If I get the process 100% down, then I will be offering it as a service. It is an expensive process though.

Will it cost $5,000 or $7,000?

Like the threadstarter said, there are many ways to do this. Neither of the ones you mentioned are how the original aurora markers were done. Every plater I've talked to said that they could do it, and they could do it without the fail rate that aurora supposedly has. But, they all want to see an aurora part so that they know exactly what I'm talking about. Most methods I've seen involve plating aluminum in chrome or nickle.

That's a myth. You can destroy pennies all you want.

-rippers- , I guess I'm missing something. How do the silicon discs relate to a pbgun? Kudos to you for looking into this. I was in the process of trying to offer the service but got tired of messing with it and abandoned it.

I tested it on silicone wafers because I knew that I would be able to produce the result successfully from past experiences on "other things". I can't explain much else because I don't want to give the process away.

Progress is looking great mane! Keep up the good work.

Also, if you get it up and running, and would like to take a shot at a run of Team guns. Our second run of Tremor shockers is coming, and I know the team would love to put a big order together.
