Carter Machine makes them. They're the cadillac of pump guns, essentially. It's a two arm cocking pump gun. Coolest thing is they can be reconfigured essentially at will. vert co2, stock class, direct feed, back asa, blah blahblah

It's probably one of the pump guns I'll try to get next.

There is no link available. If you want to order one go to www.dyeprecision.com and get the phone number from there. Then call them and order one. If you need further info just ask and I'm sure someone will help you. Oh and www.iisports.com also carries them.

What is so good about this gun? Does anyone know where I can get a pic? How much do they cost?

Sorry for all the questions.

as ubiquitous as the WWW has become in our lives, not all businesses have a website. Carter has a small section of DYE, listed above, but otherwise they have no site.
Unique Sporting in anaheim, CA, tends to carry quite a few of the buzzards and comps at any given time. usually have a couple of each.

Yar can probably give a better list of what makes them so *****en, as I know he's got a lot of exposure with them. I believe they had SS valve tubes which was one thing. stronger and better heat transfer than the al tubes.

I believe new they go 500? 550? something like that. Used, not much different because so very few of them are ever for sale. Should be able to find some pics on the DYE site, or pump players internet guild, www.pumpplayers.com

Yar is here.
Somebody talking about Carter's and buzzards?

Here is a good link for more info on Carter guns.

Carter Review

The Carter guns actually use a steel valve tube. Earon says it sheds cold better than stainless steel so it is more consistant FPS wise and you get more efficency. Carter's are sweet. Post any questions you have and I'll respond as best I can.

Yar yar yar, someone I can relate to! How much is it anyway for a NEW buzzard and a NEW carter comp? And who makes the buzzard. Do the buzzards have the dual cocking arms? I love dual cocking arms....even compression for smoother travel and sturdier feel.

The buzzards and comps are made by Earon at the DYE facility. I'd expect to spend no less than $500 for a new one.

I'm sure they're worth the 500 though....I love the dual pump rods idea....thats probably the best part, right next to the pump return spring being integrated very nicely into the barrel, and the style of the trigger guard, and th...

do you have a buzzard Yar? what makes them so great?

I have a frank gun which is the predicessor to the buzzard and termite. I have it set up stock class and it's my maine stock gun. I like the comp's better myself. The undercocker is just as smooth and the gun is lighter. It feels real solid like a real firearm.
