Diagnose(sp?) My Nme Problem
there is a small leak on tht front hose, but thats not big deal. The hammer is not striking the pin releasing the gas. Adjusted pressure and nothing. The reg is still set, increasing it will not help. Basically the bolt moves forward and back, but there is never a release of gas to fire the ball, so it only fires 5 feet or so.

Inspect all your components for damage, try turning up your dwell, lube everything.
I had this proboblem off and on with my nme, and it seems to have stoped now that ive gone thru and cleaned and lubed everthing, including the noid.
There are a number of possible causes for this problem; poor settings, drag on the ram/bolt, a kinked hose, pinched solenoid wires, bad battery, damage to the ram/ram tube, bolt/upertube bad detents or possibly your solenoid is going bad.

The leak from the front hose is probably an LPR O-ring replace both the O-rings in the LPR.

Also have seen people put the bolt back upside down, which can cause what you described.

its an nme not a cocker unless he took the bolt pin out and put it back in wrong its not an upside down bolt....unless it was like that when you got it couldent hurt to check though. my guess is dwell/pressure

the bolt is not upside down. the small leak int he LP is preventing enough pressure to drive the ram to open the poppet. if you up your dwell a bit, maybe to 15, you should get a pretty high velocity, confiming my suspicion that the bolt is rightside up

yea....
if the gun cycles with a dwell 15, then the issue is deffinately cuased by the leak in the front block.

Yup, the leak is causing the problem like SEAL said.
