Besides, the Big Bang theory does not explain the creation of the universe as something from nothing. There was initial matter. The same way God was supposedly initial existence. So, please explain why yours is less silly. It's obvious that you don't understand the BB theory since you are misquoting it.

which to me makes no sense.

it's true, you can't see God, but then think of all the other things you can't see that are real.
i guess the belife in a diety is stupid then?
that's why billions, if not trillions(depending on how long the earth has been around) of people have followed it for thousands of years...
and millions of people have followed evolution for hundreds of years.

2. I simply was saying that your statement was relative. You think it's stupid because you don't understand it. After studying the belief in a deity creation, I think it's silly. The least you could do to appear somewhat intelligent is actually learn about the theory before conversing on it.
