The event put on by Blast Factory will cost the same as all the other ICC 5-man events. Entry is $165. Paint is $57.25 for Evil or $48.75 for PMI Premium. There are no prizes for the the winners of an ICC tournement. You play for tropies, bragging rights, and pride. If a field wants to give prizes, they are awarded as door prizes that all teams have a chance of winning.
Hope to see you at the event, and several more as well.

another question, what divisions do the icc have?
3 man rookie, 5 man rookie, 5 man novice and 5 man amateur?
and what is the format for the tournaments? how many prelims and do you only stay in your division?

There are only 2 divisions if your looking to enter the ICC 5-man series turny. Nov and Am. Nov is below Am just incase you didnt know.
There are usally 6 or so Prelim games. The prelims consist of both Am and Nov teams. The top scoring team of both Am and Nov in their prelim bracket will move on to the semi-finals. From the Semis you have the Finals... and uh.. ya Finals...

The 2 divisions in the 5-man series are Am and Novice. The Rookie class is currently only used for the 3-man Rookie league.
A Novice player is defined as a player with less than 3 years of tournement experience. So if you have played in a tournement more than 3 years before your first ICC tournement, than you are an AM. I know it sounds wacked but that is the ruling. So if you played one tournement back in 97 and nothing since, you are still an Am.
Once you play on a team registered in a division, you are classified as that level untill you move up to a higher division. You may never 'bump' down in level. Once an AM, always an AM.
The format: teams are devided in to brackets, usually 6, 7, or 8 brackets, depending on the number of teams registered. That leaves between 6 to 8 teams in each bracket which results in 5 to 7 games in the preliminaries. Am teams are spread out in the brackets an the remaing Novice teams then are distributed through out remaining slots.
This results in the Novice teams having to play Am teams. That is one of the great things about the ICC, it forces you to bring game up to by having to face better players. But remember that the Semis and Finals are strictly Am vs Am, Novice vs Novice.
The top scoring Am AND Novice team in each bracket advance to the semis. If there are less than 8 brackets, than the top scoring teams that did not win there bracket are given a 'Wild Card' slot in the Semis to bring the total in each devision up to 8 teams.
Semis are played in 2 brackets for each division, round robin style. The top 2 teams in each semi brackets face off in the finals, again in round robin format.
Hope this clears things up for you.

The level of play is pretty high, but dont sell yourselves short. I have seen first year teams come out and hand teams thier @$$es that are ranked in the top of thier divisions.
Last month Jonny V who was playing for Evil Lace was checking the scores after 4 games and he was certain that they would not advance. He saw the front running team had 2 games left against teams that were not doing well and was sure it was a sealed deal. I pointed out that in the ICC you cant take any team lightly. Sure as shooting, the 2 teams smoked the leading team and allowed Evil Lace to advance.
So dont count yourselves out because you dont have 12 sponsers and all shooting 1500 dollar markes and using 15 cases of paint a day.

I play for Team Apache Lightning. I am at all the events (weather i want to to go or not!) as I am the ICC Pit Boss.
I think it is a great place for a team to get the tournement feet wet. You get to play some really tough teams with out having to shell out huge $$ for the 'privlage' .
The level of sportsmanship is pretty high to. Not a lot of 'you are just noubs so you can kiss out @$$es' attitude. Ever heard of a series where some of the top teams take the time to help out the newer teams, even to the extent of loaning them some high dollar equipment?? It is not that unusual in the ICC.
A lot of really good teams have gotten thier strt in the ICC 5-man series.
There is also the AKA sportsmanship award. The head judges on each field talk with thier refs and then vote on who should get this (4 total). The one with the highest number of votes wins the award which is a trophy (whis so far been bigger than any of the 1t place tropies!) , 5 medals, and $250 AKA gift certificate.
Last months winner was team Overdrive (and they have only ever played 2 tourneys) won by showing great sporstmanship. Even after getting waxed in one game the still made it a point to go up and thank the other team for a good game. That is most of what playing the ICC is about.
Hope this helps you decide if you want to play. I will get off my soap box now
Oh, one other good reason to attend the ICC event...Team Evil Lace. Hubba-hubba, what site to see those sexy ladies out there cutting heads!!

The registration for the May 5-man is already up. If you can't find it click this link:
http://128.121.115.209/icc/03may5.htm
As for your other question. You can usally find about every marker known to man at the ICC (as long as its turny leagal, and I havent seen anyone use pumps yet..) Ive seen Tippmanns to Angels from Spyders and JTs to Bushys and Impys. So whatever your fancy, you will probably see one at the ICC's next event.
I would really like to see you guys come to the next ICC and have as much fun as you can handle, even though the level of play is high the excitment is right up there as well. Good Luck and hope to see ya!

Place for Blastfactory event
The 5-man ICC event for Blastfactory is going to be held at the Kokomo Raceway near The Blastfactory...that's what I have been hearing.

You should come check out the May event. Come over on Saturday and practice against some of the teams. It is just off US 30 west of Plymouth.
He is correct the Blast Factory event is going to be at the Raceway.

warparty, I guess your talking about my team, Gyrus. Ya it sucked so bad we were on a roll. We evin beat evil lace, by points, and then we had two games left and we lost to phrenzy and then our next game was against sewer rats gold who hadnt done anything all day. All we needed was the 1st flag pull but my team didnt want to go for it off the break(errrr). Ya it sucked we didnt make it to semis, but we still had a blast. I can definitly say that icc have been the best tournaments ive been to so far. Youll enjoy yourselves i guarantee it.
