In the begining there was only one Ironmen team. Bob Long was the captian of that team. They won TONS of stuff were without-a-doubt one of the best teams of that day.

After a while many of the players became upset with the way Bob was running things & kicked him off the team (some say he quit).

Neither side was willing to let the Ironmen name go so for a few years there were two Ironmen teams. Bob Long's Ironmen, made up of mostly of B-team & up & comers that Bob found & the Ironmen, made up mostly of oldschool Ironmen players. Both teams had their ups & downs.

It made things a real pain in the *** sometimes at tournies.
