Goin' to look at an ion

I've always liked the look of the ions and finally have a chance to buy one. I'm mainly wondering how to tell if it has a upgraded board.
Looking for two players in the 540 area click the link for further details

Power it up, see what color the light is. Most are not red like the stock board.

^^ He's right..

Though I believe both Virtue and Blackheart boards light up blue.. then it's only a matter of opening up the grips and looking at the actual board..

Then again if it's an OLED, it'll be obvious from the clear piece in the grip for the screen

Virtue lights up red, its blue when the eyes detect paint in the breech. Most boards are easy to tell, just hold the trigger and turn the marker on. Or you could simply look at the board itself. Virtue says "virtue" on their boards.
