Bean had better prove that it was sent out. That would classify as purgury.

everyone should just go to the shipping address that they had to send your guns and such and just camp out until he shows

I'm in GA, Dope's in TX, and Bean's in NH. I don't see a huge roadtip on the schedule anytime soon for any of us. I heard Louie was close, and wanted to take a trip up there, but I lost contact with him.
I also know that Varis was legally involved with Bean, but I haven't heard one ioda from him.

If I lived anywhere near him I would have drove up there and picked up my crap. But a plane ticket to and from NH probably costs as much as the parts he had of mine.

Tipp, we always appreciate the enthusiasm.
Hell, I would have taken a trip myself, if I wasn't so damn busy. In the early months, I forgot Bean had my stuff, entirely.

Gentlemen, press charges if it is an option. I am going through a similiar deal over cars right now(a pos "friend" stole a bunch of my parts and sold some of my cars). You can always later drop the charges, filing the charges sends a big wake up call to the thief.

I just wanted my marker back. It makes everything alot easier for everyone, but I fully understand your point. The police would rather settle this as a civil matter, and keep the paperwork to a minimum.
My best advice for Dope would be if he doesn't get the marker, especially since Bean says he shipped it out, I would press charges. Bean can say he shipped it until the cows come home, but he is still responsible unless he can prove it was shipped, and did arive according to tracking numbers.

I'm waiting until this afternoon to see if Robin calls like the officer told me to do. If he doesn't I'll call him back tomorrow and have him go and visit Robin again.

The only reason I mention pressing charges is because I think it would prompt him to start sending stuff back. If no charges are being pressed then he really has no reason to try to fix this.

Maybe he is in prison. When some people are indited it could seem like they completely vanish.

nah. He's in the public, and in his house as per shipping address.
Funny you say that... a close buddy of mine was just released from prison, and no one even knew he went to jail. He is a promenent member of a import car tuning forum, and all of a sudden, he vanished. He didn't have a business or anything, but he was a close friend to many. He went to watch some illegal drifting, and the "event" was busted by police. He ran, was caught, and spent 9 months behind bars. His car was crushed (beutiful Silvia-converted 91 240sx. Shame, shame.), license was revoked, and paid a ton of fines and fees. Now he's back on the streets minus one of his rides, minus his license, and gained alot of intellegence. He will never participate in activities like that again.

I hate to revive dead threads, but this one deserves it.
I just got my Karni back today. I was relieved to find that it was 100% unmolested, minus 1 shipping issue. The plastic tensioner/retainer for the manifold broke, making the mani floppy, but I don't blame anyone. It was pakaged properly coming back to me, but I didn't pack it that well going to Robin. My fault, no one else's.
All the advise I can give is get the police involved.
