Ah... I'll be able to tell you next weekend after I pickup my own that's coming in the mail... But in the meantime check the nose of the bolt by taking off the barrel. There should be a couple of slots or a hex hole to thread the spring shaft back and forth a bit. If not then you may need to resort to packing the hammer spring with small Orings like I had to on my SL68's.

I had the same problem. Take out your spring, go to a hardware or paintball store and ask them for the same type of spring except a half inch longer. paintball stores will no exactly what to do.
my trracer was shooting at 150-180 fps and now its 260-270. Good luck!

If the Tracer is an exact mimic of the Maverick, it's down the barrel with a hex.

I got my Maverick new over a decade ago, and it came with an 18-20" long hex wrench with a T on the end to adjust the velocity.

You should be able to take off the barrel and the pump arm and use a much shorter hex wrench. If you turn the velocity up too high it won't cock when gassed, so if this happens back it out until it can cock.

There is no velocity adjuster. It's all about the springs.

some idea?

i have a trracer and this is what i found...
the volicity is down the barrel, needs a nice large hex thing...srry im no mechanic. but if you do it too much, you gun wont cock, so that the point where you need a new spring i would believe.
btw, anyone know where to get new springs?

not all trracer pumps had adjustable velocity bolts. Some (especially early ones) had fixed velocity bolts and you had to replace springs to change the velocity on those. Like it was stated earlier, take off your barrel and pump arm and look at the front of your bolt. If you see a hex, then use an allen wrench to adjust your velocity. If you see anything other than a hex, pick up a nelson spring kit.
