I haven't played for several years. I went from super into it since 1999 to completely out of it. I now see tournament paintball as an extreme waste of money, as the companies constantly market new products to the consumer, trying to convince you yours is obsolete. Rubbish. Plus most players these days are jerks who bend the rules at every opportunity.

Never been on a team, never played it often. I guess I'm a rec baller, occasionally playing (maybe 4-5 times a year). Time is always an issue (read $$$$) and besides that, family is more important to me....

...still I wished I could play it more often.

I've been on teams, played in a few tournies
Played hardcore for about 2 years, every weekend

Got married, played once this year so far . . . my problem is time and the fields are an hour and half away

Played a ton to the point of getting up there in the higher ranks of tournament paintball, but just got burned out and sick of everything to do with paintball. It just wasn't fun anymore.

I would consider buying a cheap gun and playing rec sometimes, but I don't really have time.

I used to play at least 3 or 4 times or sometimes more per month, but I got divorced at the begining of the year, and have my kids nearly every weekend, so now I only get out once a month or every other month since my youngest 3 are not old enough to play yet. Sometimes my ex will come out and play with us so we can take turns watching the little ones, but that is not too often.

Hey no problem with that. I shoot a mag, although it's a newer, ULE mag with an electro frame lol.

Huh I kind of figured that most people here don't play very often. I wonder if Nicole W plays...

Not anymore, a combination of the cost to play and people caused me to quit.

Haven't played for a looooong time. Waste of money in my opinion, but it was fun for a while.

No, I don't, but my husband does. He used to go on these forums all the time and I started reading the threads and became interested and joined in on the discussions.

But now even my husband just quit playing this past week. Same reasons as everyone else. Too much time (practice, reffing or tournies every weekend), too much money especially with the price of gas, and way too far away. His practices alone would sometimes be 4-5 hours away and his last 2 tournaments were 6 hours away and they had to spend the night at a hotel. Ridiculous if you ask me. I think fields need to pop up more around where people live. It's just getting too hard to play the sport anymore, especially if you have a full time job or kids. It just stopped being fun for him and became a source of stress instead, which stinks if you ask me

Very rarely. I go out in the woods. I'm not big on speedball or tourney play.
