Its all about the code design. A code structure can make or break the performance of a program (especially in assembler).

I haven't reviewed any code from any of these boards, so i would look at which companies have been in buisiness the longest. These companies should have well developed software which leads to top notch performance.

I do know that the Predator board was one of the first, if not the first, to be offered as an aftermarket board for paintball markers.

Both very good boards. Just I think that the Tadao board has more options.

I have M7 in my DM4. I had Virtue in my Dark Shocker. Both shoot well. I prefer Tadao though. I upgraded my software for free at PSP Events. Virtue has not sent back 2 broken ion boards in over a month. My brother had Predator in his shocker and the software did not properly hold settings or program right. I don't recommend it.

With the Tadao board, you can fire at any ROF with the EYES ON. Virtue you cannot.

This is out of Tadao's Website.

Gangster setting allows 3 different options for every firemode, giving 36 different "breakout" style modes

That means you can make your own kinds of Breakout modes.

Tadao>Virtue

I just bought a vitue for my Shocker NXT...I hate it...to damn hard to program.Maybe if the instructions were a little clearer I would change my opinon on it.

Another thing was when I went to install the board there were bent pins in the connector took me about an hour to get the pins straight and get the damn thing in.

Instruction book is not clear at all...simple thing like the 2 dip switchs....when there in the up position are they on or off ?little things like this can make or break a board.(saves time and frustration)

I am still having problems with the eyes working right on the board.dont want to even go into that.

Just wish I had bought a diffrent board

Tadao for the DM7 is way better than its Virtue counterpart. It allows ribbon eyes for PM6, and another slot for PM7/PMR, as well as the wired eyes. It also has a direct connect for an RF chip. The Virtue on the other hand only has a PM6 ribbon slot, you have to buy an adapter for the PM7/PMR. Also it has battery wires instead of the Ego style battery harness which I find much better. I switch to Tadao for those reasons, although I find Virtue easier to program, and I like the 15 BPS ready setting through a dipswitch. Both boards I have heard shoot equally well, I have never shot a Virtue DM6 board, just the Tadao but I shot shocker and Timmy Virtues, and really both are equal I believe.

Tadao has been around way longer then virtue and i have always used their products. I tried a virtue chip in my dm5 when they first came out and had nothing but problems. Plus tadao has way better eye logics and has great customer service as well. Tadao> Virtue anyday

Tadao>Virtue

If you read the manual it is just 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shot is full auto. You can't make your own breakout mode.

I have the M3 in my 03 Matrix and like it. I have not had a chance to check out the M7 or a new Virtue. I just got a DM6 and would like to see some facts on the two boards as far as the Scans per second and eye logic.

It would be nice to see these two boards setup on the same gun with the same hopper and have them on full auto, then goldwave it to see which has better eyelogic. I would also try to find someone that has a certain kind of board in there gun and see if they will let you shoot it to see what you like.

What I am saying is you need to try it for yourself then you have to choose. It is your money. We can talk about which is better but in the end it is your gun. Both companies have been in business for a while. The only reason I would choose virtue is Free upgrades(you just have to mail them your board). Other than that I like Tadao.

Tadao. There is so much more to adjust. You can adjust eye sensitivity, trigger sensitivity, CPF, MB, DB. You have 3 eye modes to choose from, you also have different loader delays. Tadao is the most responsive board on the market. Plus one of the eye modes tells you how fast your shooting the gun. Ive shot virtue and it was good too. There is also a lot of adjustability on the virtue but more on tadao. IMO tadao>virtue. And i play for Shock Kids.

Cool Predator

The Predator board is extremely customizable, has free upgrades for life, customer support (I've never needed to call, so I don't know the quality), and one of the simplest interfaces ever. I highly recommend it. Oh, yeah, $40 with a membrane pad
