If you do want to see it... but that part scared you too much in the trailer... read the spoiler... (its a unbelievably MINOR spoiler)

Spoiler: (Highlight this box to see the hidden message.)
I don't think that was even in the movie.... like the scene was but the whole devil voice and zombie hand thing. I think it got cut.... from what I remember

My 2 cents- It was a decent ghost movie. The only thing that made me even slightly jump was the loud music turning on out of nowhwere... but it scared the hell out of lotsa people sitting near me. There is one part near the middle of the movie where you are just like... "No, **** this movie... I swear that if this is how it ends I'm gonna demand my money back." That pissed me off quite a bit.

Movie was decent. Ending was so so. Nothing really frightening besides a couple pop up screamers here and there.

Exactly^

The movie doesn't explain **** about the happenings in the room, the only scary parts are the pop up screamers. The rest is just dumb. Not worth seeing.

I actually thought that was how it was going to end because sometimes Stephen King actually does do that crap in his stories. Luckily it had more "twists."

its not about making you jump and scream every 5 seconds. If you thought it was supposed to be that kind of movie, you're dumb.

the story was infinitely better than the movie (and only like 12 pages long) but the movie was actually pretty good. Cusack played his part amazingly well i felt. Other than the occasional pop ups, there is nothing that makes you jump. A couple good twists, although the ending was all too predictable.

I personally thought it was one of the greatest horror movies I have seen.

Most horror movies will try to 'scare' you with the baddy going POP out of nowhere, but this one actually had a fear to it that I have not experienced in a long time.

Great scary movie. And YES, Edward Norton WOULD have been better. But that's true for many movies.

Edward Norton would be a better lead for 90% of the movies made in the last 10 years. but Cusack played that part wonderfully.

When his "daughter" dies in his arms and he has the emotional breakdown. few actors could sell that like he could

My GF saw it and said it was good. She's into weird movies and stuff. So if you like weird movies, you'll probably like it.

John Cusack isn't a terrible actor. I really liked High Fidelity.

That is interesting because almost the entire theater I was in all moaned/winced at the same time, with a couple people exclaiming rather loudly "That's ****ed up".

Went to see it tonight... power in the theaters went out when he was talking to the manager.

Came back on 10 min later.

Got to see the part where the radio turns, and just as he pushes the off button, power went out again.

Man.. I really want to see it! Atleast we got reimbursed...
