To all the people from the other forums. I appoligize for having to link you here, and only posting this in one forum, but it would be too hard to edit every post on every thread on every forum. I figure that all of us are usually members here (even if this is not where we usually troll). As soon as all of it is finished I will transfer this to any/all other online paintball forums to "spread the word"

Taking into account that NO ONE, not tom kaye, not warpig, not any major paintball company has ever provided a solid, comprehensive list comparing different barrels accuracy and performance, this is truly a testament of your dedication towards the growth of knowledge in the paintball community. And also there is one think which make me feel strange, and i would like to correct it.

You saying that, paintball guns does not have any influences in
accuracy of the paint fly. Just paint to barrel much does everything!?

But for me,and I'm sure there is a lot of others,paintball flying
distance also is means accuracy, which goes together with paintball guns consistency. Consistency also means regulator,and as we know different guns have different regs,and there is guns which does not have them at all!

I know you using a X-mag,that means you have a non adjustable and
very consistent reg in your xvalve. But we others are not so lucky

So,basically what I'm saying is - I agree, this is nothing to do with
- paintballs fly much more left or right,but if we speak about distance,it is quite noticeable difference between gun with or without a regulator,because with bad or cheap or even without a reg one ball goes further with one trajectory,and second ball goes more closely with different angle.
And that means,paintball guns HAVE something to do with paint flying trajectory and distance,and at least for me it's mean accuracy specially in woods!.

from what you've posted so far, it looks like many of the barrels are similiar in accuracy.

The only benifit that I know of with having a good reg is that the velocity will be more consistant which will allow the user of the marker to shoot at higher velocities then say a standard co2 blowback. The blowback will have to be set at a "lower pressure" to make sure the velocity spikes will not go above 300. That is the only dissadvantage of "cheap" markers. We really did not see that much accuracy difference across the velocities that we were shooting. I think it is almost safe to say that the left /right (xaxis) accuracy is not affected with a marker that varies in 10-15 +- velocity varriances. Now the up/down (y axis) accuracy is controled by the consistancy of the markers velocity, and we all know this is goverened by the reg/valve.

After typing all of this I reread your post, and think we are saying the same thing. I guess your right the markers ability to control the balls velocity is important as far as the yaxis accuracy is concerned.

Dont worry about converting the data. As soon as it is complete I will make it availible to the public via MS Excel. This way you can have all the spread sheets that we made/use(It will hopefully also save people alot of time). Hopefully people can also get creative in different ways of analyzing the data (something which I would love to do, but just dont have time right now working 60+ hr weeks).

How does an alien interceptor put backspin on the ball? has it been proven that it does? If so links please.
Do they make them cocker threaded? How much do they cost (new or used)

If they do it similarly to a Zbody mag then I would highly doubt it. Those bodies also require a really large bore barrel to refrain from bolt stick.

Basicly you get the same result as tilting your marker.

It has not been proven but the interceptor uses a "sweep" bolt+ valve that are designed to fire air at the bottom half of the ball, giving it backspin. Jack Rice (owner of alien paintball) claims that this produces an oval shaped shot pattern, and longer shot distance. Thanks for the links raven. That was a very intersting debate. I still dont believe that the marker can preform like they said it can, but hey you never know.
