Shaft FR back stuck?

So I bought a shaft FR back, for the life of me I cannot seperate the two pieces. Has anyone had this problem? I can take it apart at work in a vice, but im worried it will just get stuck together at the field

I have not had an issue with mine. If you look at the thread ends there is a little flat spot you can put an open end wrench or crescent wrench on if it is stuck that hard. Once you get it off, try not to tighten it that hard, it doesn't need much to keep them together.

Little bit of dow33 or even a drop of oil on the threads can't hurt either. A lot of times we forget PE barrels are reverse threaded and crank down on them trying to loosen them.. Just be careful next time

If you do use a wrench on it, put a rag or paper-towel on it first, so you don't scratch it.

Advise...if you DO use a wrench, tape the end of the wrench up with electrical tape to protect your barrel. This happened to me as well with my FR back. I could not get it unscrewed with my hands alone. I had to get a rubber pot holder used in the kitchen for hot dishes for extra grip and I got it off. Make sure when do you get it off, you put some gun grease on the threads to protect them and keep them from sticking in the future.
