Night Vision While Wearing Goggles

http://www.opsgear.com/ATN-PVS7-3-3r...tn-pvs7-3a.htm

I plan on buying this my only concern is how will wearing goggles affect me using it? will it still work well? and be able to see through the night vision well?

is their special goggles made for this?

The Pvs-7 isn't to bad of a night vision system but the problem you will run into is that its designed to sit on you're eyes, so with it sitting away from you're face like that you will more than likely have trouble seeing the picture very well, plus you could run into a focus issue. It might be better than nothing but not as great as you might be hoping.

However if you've got that kind of money burning a hole in you're pocket, and waiting for that kind of device id go with a monocular design. With that one its tough to transition from it to regular sight quickly, plus the field of view isn't that great. With the monocular it will be easier to work with, that and if you have a marker with a "scope rail" or an adapter you can mount it and use it like a scope. This one would just be better.

If you have too much money for you're own good go with this one, its got a newer tube in it.

http://www.opsgear.com/ATN-PS14-4-Ni...atn-ps14-4.htm

Note: I have never used these in paintball but my opinions are based on some experience.

NastyShock3r: hey guy's i live in miami i need help to open a paintball store can anyone help or can tell me what i need to do?
midstatepaintball: That's easy! Just push on the front door of the store if it says "push", or pull on the door if it says "pull".

Well the casing in them is fairly strong, so the only really concern would be the lens. And the lens is kinda small so just going on the odds of getting in the lens, at night would be quite slim, although still possible.

well still.. theres also the matter that he's mounting it on his goggles... so they could fall of if shot on the casing

and the chances of getting hit in the lens are still there, 4k with 1 shot :X not too good

google for paintball nightvision? you might be able to put some paintball lense material on the nightvision and see if that does anything to seeing

You might be amazed at what you can see with Night Vision Goggles, given the price difference, VS Thermals.

a lot of places have night balling, which some players really really enjoy (fanatics!)

apparently, he's spending a lot of time in the dark to spend quadruple (sp?) the price of his pb gear for night vision

No... nightvision optics are made of a hard metal or synthetic material (depending on brand and cost)... if it was made of paper do you think it would be $4000????

PS: They don't fog up!!!!
