Is our old feedback still valid or should we toss it in the trash?

If we get feedback from a member then they get banned, do we still get to keep that feedback, or does it get deleted? (since it seems that 2 users feedback is linked as one, and if a member gets banned, their feedback is automatically deleted)

Your answer lies in the first post of this thread.

I dont know if this has been asked yet, but what about members who have been perm banned? Like I have almost 90 positive feedback, but there are a few members in my feedback who have been permenately banned, so it will be impossible to have them rate my feedback agian.

If that was there 30 minutes ago I would have simply posted something to the effect of "I like". Please allow me to do that now....

I like the new easy to use Ebay like system. I don't think it will be too hard for people to view both. In a year or two new people will see the old feedback thread as status symbol.

You can use your old feedback. Don't really need to convert it all over.

Well, I started hunting for old threads in b/s/t and my very first feedback came from this thread http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...0#post22981150

I purchased the redz pants and it is in my old feedback, but I did not post in that thread, rather I omed him and we closed deal there. How am I suppose to go about doing this, since reviving old threads is agianst rules? Can I go ahead and post there anyways so I can leave him feedback?

I suppose that is within your right. However, if you revive a thread to leave him feedback, and he doesn't reciprocate, it might seem a little strange to other people you are dealing with.

Wow, Kyle, I am sorry for my doubts earlier. But the ease of use of the new system along with the new automated reply that feedback has been left is awesome ! After using the system once it was quite easy to use, as long as we our old feedback threads stay locked and not deleted I am happy

EDIT -

look at my sig, I think I believe this will also make it easier, just as people have the link to their old thread feedback, you can add a link to your new feedback link as well.

Geese, now I am finding out that alot of my deals I closed in past were done using pms without posting in the b/s/t thread. This is gonna take some time. Dont sound like a bad idea though. Since we can stilll use our old feedback links for reference, I guess I ahve a bit of time to catch up on the new system.

i came to find that you can still display your old feedback in your sig or whatever. that feedback still does exist its not like its all gone now. but i guess alot of people just feel much more better having there feedback in the system. but what makes me wonder is people are gonna pretend they have double the feedback they already have. but who knows what could happen. i guess well just have to wait and see.

and for example. well idk if that +1 transaction was just done today but if it wasnt. and you do that to all the other transactions youd make that would double your feedback. but not saying some people wouldnt notice. but hey some people are dumb sometimes...

I would suggest putting the feedback link back in the profile. I mean, I don't know about other people, but I would like to delete the link to my old feedback from my sig and put the link in my profile so I can say "Old feedback in profile, 100% New feedback" or something like that.

I took it out and don't intend on adding it back. People were putting badly formed urls and stuff in it and it was only used by a very small portion of the population. If people want to use their old threads they can sig it or PM it to the interested parties.

Well I'm no one to scam someone, I'm not going to go through my old feedback to search out threads so I am just going to let it stand as is and continue my feedback into the new system rather than transfer it.

. I just kinda don't wanna have to go find the thread. But, ok.

Although, it would be funny to go look at somes feedback location and see a link to porn...lawl. If that's what you are talking about in reference to "stuff".

Your best bet like I did, since you have 38 pages of feedback, is to leave it and continue it in the new system. Rather than try and transfer it.
