New Interal Question

i was recently at Warped LA while on Vacation in Califorinia, and picked up the new internals while i was in the neighborhood. (mind you, i live in South Dakota)

i got home saturday night, and install the new internals for a tourney sunday.

my legend wouldnt shoot the ball more then 5 feet infront of me, even with the dwell at 15, and the Reg turned up.... a lot.

any advice?

*edit* im more of a shooter, then a trouble shooter... :embarrased:

if you turned up the reg (you probably turned the reg screw clockwise)

try turning counter-clockwise, that way you will actually put pressure in

EDIT: did you even lubricate the rammer?

Thats very true.. Ive seen alot of people w/ cp regs on there guns and they think by turning it clockwise it highers the vlocity like most regs.. Cp regs are the opposite where you have to turn it counter-clockwise to higher the vlocity and clockwise to lower it

-im not trying to sound like a dick, but i know how to turn up a CP reg. you turn it out, and i was seeing threads, thats how far i was turning it out.

-the bolt pin in in the correct place

-i replaced the battery.

-i lubed the ram with Hater Sauce.

-I have a CP direct MOunt, and it was screwed on all the way.

-i have an adjustable tank(nitroduck 45/4500) and i have the output pressure at 800psi.(this is not the issue, i used it on a Hybrid NXT the same day, and it shot perfect the rest of the day) im jsut stating what was there, so you guys can help me narrow it down more.

.... i know how to trouble shoot obvioulsy, but there must be something else wrong...

illjust call Warped...

I think Nick said this in his post, but from now on only use synthetic oil (Tri-Flow, etc.) to lube your gun. Still, that couldn't be the issue at hand.

yes PE Oil is like tri flow. ONLY USE OIL ON THE GUN.

And if you are seeing threads on the CP reg its too far out. Some regs if you put it out that far your psi will go down sometimes try a new battery

i don't understand, if u took out the bolt to try to put it in the right hole again, did u not see a huge hole where air is suppoed to go through on the bolt? i would think there wa something fishy about a hole on the top of my bolt, thats just terribly noob

go sit in a corner...

but yea, when your Pissed that your gun isnt working the DAY of the tourny, which is no more then 6 hours from when the time you install the new internals. then you tend to miss things...

anyways. its done. thanks for the input guys!
