Weird Problem.

Ok, I got back from playing today and I was taking apart my Mini to clean it.

I took everything apart and when I was putting it back together, the manifold plate was kind of bent and it wouldn't sit flat on the body. Is it supposed to be like that or is that bad? I have no idea how it could've just bent like that so I'm assuming it's supposed to be like that, but it makes no sense not sitting flat against the body because paint will just go right in the gun..

Thanks.

Hmm, you might have to call kee. However, if its nothing big just tighten the screws all the way and see if that helps.

I tried that..theres still a gap in between the body and the manifold plate..

Do you know what could've caused this? I don't know how this could've happened.

There should not be a gap. Make sure the eye board is sitting in the body fully and that the manifold gasket is also in place.

Everything was in place. The Manifold somehow got bent. I'm just going to call up KEE when I get home from school.

Is this the first time you took it apart? If not, you could have tightened it down to hard in just the wrong order, and warped it. Happens with cylinder heads and manifolds on real engines, thats why you are supposed to go in a certain order. I doubt thats it, but it could be a reason. I dunno

Tightened what down? I didn't get a chance to tighten anything because it was bent.
