Well, since TBO and BJ got the other thread all serious and **** and now no one is posting, I thought it time for a new thread of the week and I thought this one should be light hearted.

So here we go.
I challenge you to put together your All Time New England Team.

The Rules:
1. Any player who ever lived in NE or who played regularly on an NEPL team is eligible (must have played at least one full season).

2. You are creating a 7-man team playing in 2008. As you select players, remember to account for differences in format and technology. (So, what if QBert and LB's prime was in 2008?)

3. List your roster, by position, including a captain and a coach.

7 man? why dont we just do 10 man while were at it? Or even better i nominate the pac rats 5 man team from 91 or 2 when Matty G looked like a Rambo. How about that.

7Man because we have a gold standard already available and because it will be just about impossible to equate the bulk of paintball history in NE to xball. It is also the format more NE players are readily familiar with.

But people can do whatever they want.

And, if it makes it easier, people can throw out rule #3 and just list the names.

You don't have to play a full season of the NEPL to qualify, I put that really as a way to exclude people who played one event in the NEPL, so could be argued to be NE players, but really aren't.

So, Greg Siewers, yes. Matt or Bart Blonski... I dont know. The guys from Lockout who played that one NEPL... not.

In their prime this would be my team i would put into a 7 man event:

1. Scott Murphy
2. Dan (T-Storm)
3. Tim Mayer
4. Brian Pierce
5. Mike Schiller
6. Billy B (if played a full year of NEPL)
7. Myself
8. Anthony Vitale (in his prime, lasic eye surgery, and just being a player)

Some great players did not make this list, but that was due to today's format and style of play. Some of those names are as follows:

Jim Masler

Matt Gallo
Judd Lafreniere
Ron Carr
Sean Rawlings
Jim Boudreau
Mike Abruzese
John O'brien
Butch Montoya
Sean Cavanaugh

These guys were pure players in their prime.

Ditto Bob. But I'm thinking 10-man might come back. I will make a 10-man team consisting of new/old "dude's" (in there prime) that made there mark in New England paintball.

6.Son back/mid
7.Nubbin mid
8.Either Cabbage, T-B0 (Can't Decide although Dan cheated T-bo a lot !) Or the better of the two brothers that played for "Scream." 1 of those 3 would be a back
9.Ro/Sham/Bo (Rico Gig Vs. B-Ron Gig) Back
10.Tyler (Wild Geese) front
