make sure you ask the people you do work for to refer you to other people and you will get a lot of business that way

"If you know any one else who needs a lawn service here is my card."

You should learn the basic PM and repair of your lawn mowers to save some money. You'll also want a written contract that deals with time, length of grass, bagging or mulching, what if there is no rain for a long time/a lot of rain. Removal of grass from drive or porch, trimming/edging after and more. I have about 25 things listed in each of my contracts with the people I provide a service to.

hes a ****ing 14 year old kid, stop trying to be lawfully perfect and stop getting your panties in a bunch.

the bottom line is hes a 14 year old, trying to do some business for bubble gum and a new foot ball. (sarcasm, but the bottom line is hes underage)

my suggestions would be to make up some flyers, and put them in the mail. People will call if they need the work done. Just try to be polite, and do a good job.

flyer placement is a big part or word of mouth put flyers in like curves, maybe if your a church go'er on the bulletion board there , local party stores... etc places that there is a greater chance older people may go to see them.

Got three friends up here who all have lawn mowing businesses. They started when they were like 14 and I always remember them making absolute BANK when they cutted lawns. Now there older and all have cars, two are still in the business and they have taken there business out of out neighborhood, and they both were about to afford pickup trucks that they bought with there own money from lawn making.

But really, not only did these kids made so much money that they were able to afford pickup trucks to expand there businesses, but they literally had EVERYTHING they wanted. One of them showed me his just "spending money" he had in a safe at his house, it was in upwards of 6 G's. Plus he had a lot more in CD accounts and other things like that.

Point is, if you do it right and are dedicated, you can make A LOT of money for someone your age

it's what they want but it protects you as well. b/c they might want you to come out an extra time then the once a week or every week. So you can charge them.

Also you can make a basic plan, premium, and custom plan.
