Thumbs up The Count of Monte Cristo (v.2002)

Anyone else see this? It's probably one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time. I don't think it even saw threatres either. It was like Man In the Iron Mask meets The Shawshank Redemption. Loved it!

The one with Jim Cavezial (sp?) and Guy Pearce? If so, then yes it's a very underrated movie.

I just watched a bit of it when it was TV last night. I might borrow it from the internet one of these days.

I saw it around 2k2ish so i couldn't really appreciate it. I thought it was alright back then. I bet if I saw it now I'd think it was better.

I would read the book if it weren't Harry Potter sized with 8 pt. font

the movie was excellent however. Alot better when watching it without commercial breaks. TNT or whoever had it on broke it up so much that it got really confusing.
