V for Vendetta

I really like this movie, but their were some things that confused me because I didn't pay enough attention.

-Why were the people put in a cell and tortured
-Why did V put the girl(main character) in the pretend cell?

V WAS THE ****!

For any reason any tyrant government puts you in a cell.

To break her. And so that she was no longer afraid all of the time.

Well why did V all of a sudden decide to let her go when it was like her 10th billionth time refusing to say V was and such?

Because she was finally ready? Come on, you could've come up with that if you would have thought about it a little harder.

Becuase she agreed to die and wasn't afraid to, I'm pretty sure V explained that like 5 minutes after he let her go...

Imo V captured Evee NOT to break her, but to test her, as she was the one who pulled the lever.

1) People were put in a cell because they opposed the government, or were gay or some other "undesirable"
2) To make her have no more fear or death and be able to do as she pleases

The movie was basically 1984 with fireworks/explosions.

The movie would be better if it wasn't simply a slight against the Bush administration. Good movie, well made, but ideologically, that's all it seemed to be.

it was a great movie

the reason they put them in cells because they were the unmentionables, the people that the government didnt like, ie the gays in that case.

the only problem was, that all the little wierd kids at my old schooeld loved the move because they felt that a wierdo could be the hero.... lol

Liberal propaganda... The only cool parts of that movie were the first explosion scene, the fight scene, and the last explosion scene.

And I have to admit the show that made fun of the dictator guy was pretty funny.

I thought it was phemoninal. Loved it. V was a pretty interesting character and I actually enjoyed the political undertones.
