Ugh... I give up!
Well, I sent my ETek out for an anodozing job. It was the first time I fully broke the whole marker down. I did my best rebuilding it, but it doesn't cycle. Here is what I have....
ETek
Star Frame
AKA 2 Liter
Ti Rammer
Bump LPR Piston
Cure Bolt
Before I took it apart, it shot laser beams. Now, it cycles, but just "poofs" of air. I have played with the dwell, the lpr, and the input pressure. I was so happy that I had no leaks after the rebuild, but I'm about to throw the ****ing thing out a window.
I'm aggravated, to say the least.... maybe beaten is a better word. I have been at it the last two nights. Everything is oiled... lubed and seems perfect. The bolt is catching the ram.
Also it does it with all my regs... so that pretty much takes that out of it. The only thing I am using now that is different is the tank. I had to borrow a 47/3000 steely to check for leaks. I now HP is best, but if this tank is LP could that be it?
The LPR seems to be rebuilt fine. I have, in this order from the adjustment screw going in...
screw
silver thing
piston
spring
LPR body
bump spring
exhaust valve
rammer
May God be with me.... this thing might be going for a ride.

I forgot that one in my post, but if you mean the one inbetween the piston and the silver thing, it's in.
After airing it up again, I noticed no air comes out of the barrel. If that helps at all.....

exhaust valve in backwards? the shaft should be pointing to the back of the gun and make sure it makes it into the hole.

Yup, it's in correctly. It's almost like the valve isn't opening.
When you look down the hole, where the bolt pin goes down into the ram, how much of the pin should you see? I see maybe 1/8 of an inch sticking out for the ram to hit.
I am baffled............
Oh, btw... thanks for the help bro!

leave the bolt out, turn the eyes off and see if the ram cycles. Might want to turn the LPR down a bit first though.
also, before you try my idea, see if the owners manual says anything about this problem you are having.
another solution might bo to ask a local proshop what it would run for them to reassemble your marker for you.

Yea... make sure the holes of the rammer housing in the back of it are pointing down.

First and foremost check that you have not installed your rammer housing upside down causing the air flow to the solenoid to be blocked!

Well, thanks to all who gave me a hand!
The rammer housing was upside down.
I swear I read every single thread in this section...
Sorry for the silly mistake. I guess we live and learn
On a happier note, after spinning the housing it cycled perfect!
So I load up a hopper and crack open the front door. I let a nice 40 to 50 shot burst go at a small tree across the street. I live in Philadelphia, so there aren't many people ramping from their front doors.
To make a loing story short, I get a knock on my door 10 minutes later. It's the old lady down the street. She tells me that her husband, who is like 95 years old, thought WWIII had broken out! He geared up in his WWII uniform and was laying in the living room with a musket waiting for "the bastards" to try to get them! After apologizing for 15 minutes, I tell her if there is anything I can do just to let me know. She tells me that she would love for me to do 20 push ups with my shirt off... that she would be more than happy with that. So, I drop down, give her 20 and she left.
BTW... I'm 34 yo and act like I'm 13 when it comes to paintball. Thanks for listening!

Don't let this discourage you. Of all the markers I have ever worked on, this on is BY FAR the easiest to service. A full tear down and rebuild and the only thing wrong was my mistake. PE has a customer for life with me!
