But the examples you speak of are someone who still has hope. Without any hope of an alternative, there is acceptance and there is peace. There is no more conflict, nor desire to avoid death. It's going to happen, there isn't a shred of me that thinks I will live forever, and I've accepted that and become free of the fear of death as a result. Fear is a trigger to get you into avoidance mode, or to prepare you for the conflict to overcome your adversary. There is no avoidance of death, nor any triumph over it. I'll be dead, and I'm alright with that.

i get what ur saying man

STORY TIME
I call this story, "Tough Luck."
There was 2 guys. One was a very mean and very cruel person.
The other was very kind, loved children and helped whomever he could whenever he could.
Only 1 of these men believed in god.
The very mean man was a rapist, pedophile, narcissist, murderer, terrorist and practically EVERYTHING else you can think of which is mean.
The very nice man donated to charity with whatever spare change he had every day, helped homeless and handicap people in his spare time and was just an all round nice guy. Never stole, never hated anyone or anything and never broke any laws.
Only 1 of them made it to heaven.
(It was the rapist, pedophile, narcissist, murderer, terrorist. Simply because he didn't believe in Christ, the kind, caring, compassionate man was sent to hell.)

It's alright though, you're all just going to be reincarnated. No need arguing.

I would disagree a bit with your statement. Granted, death is unavoidable, how ever for those that are already dead on the inside, living on an Earthly hell, the avoidance of suicide is a triumph. The inevitable only comes with nature, and look how far humans have come from that.
Going to hell, ready to die. If I did end up in heaven though, I'll be extremely surprised and probably bored out of my mind... if there is any place at all.

I do not fear Death, but I will not rush to embrace him, either. There is still life in me, and I plan on making the most of it. Perhaps when I've grown old and tired and have lived a full life I'll be ready to welcome Death and even smile at his appearance. But not today.
As for the second part of the poll question, neither. I fully expect to find a brief rest and a quick return to live again amongst loved ones.

I don't know, I supose unless you get in gods face, you couldnt get tossed out of heven, so it might be fun only because you could screw with everyone else and make their afterlives 'hell'.

Oh I'm going to heaven, but I'm not ready just yet. You see though, my heaven will be just that, MINE. No other ******s to deal with, I just get to relax and chill out, and do whatever I want. IF I want some interaction I will choose it. Only my friends can come visit me in my casa del paradise and if any Mormons knock on my door I get to kill them in really cool ways. I mean, it's my heaven I can do whatever the hell I want.
I'll have like a sweet Italian villa on the beach. I'll have my own Xball field with free air and free "all you can shoot" marbelizer. I'll have at least 26 guns and a Koensig in my garage. It's gonna be friggin tight. Any Christians or other theists that try to drag me over to their heaven that's locked in epic battle with Satan and crap... well that's where my private Harrier comes in. *Target acquired, permission to fire. Splash one nutbag theist!*

I don't care, I don't want any part in it lol. The words "get off my damn lawn" will be plastered across the front of my Heaven. Anyone who doesn't listen gets a sidewinder missile to the nuts. Especially the mormons/latterday saints!

I am not yet ready to leave this plane. I still have some work left to do. I know though that when I die I will be in a better place united with the common spirit.
