Avalanche v. Impact at Tampa

I was watching the web cast and I thought the lanche won the last game but did not hang the flag in time so they went to the "one on one's"...

if that is true... what sucks is when the lanche player went to get the flag (from the Impact start box).. it was not hanging on the box and the flag was on the ground which cost the lost time and missed flag hang...

can someone confirm this??? if so, they got screwed...

They looked real good and great article in "face full"...

yeah this happenes alot,
or well i happened quite a few times in HB
i think the NPPL should invest in a clamp or some sort of devide that will defiantely hold it up, but when the "flag" is pulled hard enough, the device wont go with it.

the lanche player spotted the flag on the ground within 1/2 second tho. just to think, they could have been playing for first/ second.

They did not get screwed, im sure it was there at the start of the game but fell off from getting shot mid game.

They might have gave them the hang if we was looking around for it but he saw it as he was running in to get it.

Props to Avalance though, they played amazing

the game everyone's referring to was the second game against edmonton impact which ended in a "draw" which i put in quotes because lanche had (i believe) two live players and was running the flag back.

the only way in which i thought they got screwed was that the last guy was shot and just kind of sat there for an extra 10 seconds which slowed up the game. it shouldn't have had to go to one on ones.

still, the danny/josh davey one on one... wow. josh handed his gun to the ref out of exhaustion after the two minutes was up and no one had died. both players had completely circled one another and dumped multiple tubes... crazy game.

yea, that one on one was sick. Honestly, i think it should never have gone to 1v1. avalanche won both the second and third game straight up with little dispute. time on hanging the flag is such a technicallity. but hey, it led to 1v1s which were hella fun to watch. Hopefully, avalanche will play this well their next event.
