Step 1: Take a crescent wrench and tighten it around the macroline right before it hits the fitting.

Step 2: After its tight, pull the hose away from the fitting with one hand, and the wrench away from the hose w/ the other hand (push the wrench into the fitting is another way to word this). The macro will come out with some force.

Step 3 and 4: Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the 2nd point of connection of the macroline.

When you're done doing w/e it is your doing, take the macro line and push it back into the fitting w/ your hands (no wrench required). Gas it up, and make sure the line went in far enought that there is no leaking. If it leaks, take the hose out, and push it back in again.

its actually a lot easier than that most of the time and needs no tools at all.....if you remove the end in the asa first the way i do it is to pull the collet back with one hand then with the other hand pull the hose and at the same time twist the swivel collar of the inline reg, use the mechanical advantage to work for you. removing the end at the reg first is very difficult.

Matt, often the fittings seem to grip harder than others and the normal push and pull doesnt work. This is a pretty easy method with the wrench anyway so i dont mind taking the extra time.

The stock macro fittings suck, I reccomend replacing them.
