you could figure it out without seeing the first one, all you really need to know is that the virus infects people and..... well youll see. but you should definitly see the first, not for storylines sake, just for the fact that its a really good movie

The US didn't get infected. Just the UK in the first one.

yeah, i was thinking wtf is up with that, and how did infected kill that one sniper when he was like, 30 stories up, how did they know he was up there

Saw the movie yesterday and I cant help to feel a little underwhelemd by it. I think the first one had a better plot and actors. I cant wait for the 3rd one

yeah i noticed that as well, but also even the dad escaping the facility was rather ridiculous he ended up killing 3 or 4 soldiers on his way out, infection aside. It was a good film but definently had its flaws, hopefully they will adress some of these issues if they do a third. Oh and was it just me or were the majority of the helicopters computer animated?

nonsense, why do you keep posting all about the movie without a spoiler. Some people haven't seen it yet. Talk about nonsense.

He was imune from the infection itself; via blood. But he could still be killed by the infected victims...just like his mom did just by getting bruttaly beaten to death.

Nonsense, you have to realize that even with lets say 2 saw and a couple snipers they'd still have trouble containing a couple hundred sprinting full speed. What happens when 1 saw has to reload? Or one gets too close and blood splatters? One jams and the other has to take on the full advancement? Snipers realize code red is; they know they have 4minutes to get the hll out of dodge.

wow and I am crazy or were the infected scared of the day time in the first one, here in the sequel they completely ignored that fact.

well lets go through the evidence in 28 days. There were no infected on the streets of london during the day. the main character only found one in a dark church which did not follow as he fled. He and the others were able to go around looking for food during the day, yet when they go into a dark tunnel they are chased by the infected seeking refuge there. The infected only attack the military base at night, and they freely travel the city and up country during the day . i would definently say that they were afraid of day time.

The reason you didn't see any in London in 28days is because the infected chased everyone inside; and thats where the infected stayed; where the food source is. They're too dumb to find their way out.

The military base in 28 days was only attacked in the day because there was a food source there, and they knew it. Why they came in spurts? I dunno.

I believe the infected would just lay down if there was no food source to conserve energy (yes I know they don't think about "saving energy" but its a basic instinct in everything) untill something came along. And as we all know organic materials break down faster in the the sunlight. Maybe they "felt" the sun and try to find a dark place to "preserve" their body.
