We are just lucky this time...14 straight wins! God is with us!

Congratulations! Global Pinoy wins the first leg of PALS!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe it's just luck why we win. The teams (Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Iran and Thailand) are getting stronger and stronger. The level of Games are not the same years back. Players no longer hate each other instead hugging each other. Faces became familiar and seems to be missing those who are not there. Inspite of a strong competition, they pose for pictures after the game. What a real experience...thanks to Paul, Redza and Allan this time (maybe because we win he! he!... if not we will cry again and complain...he! he!). But sincerely thanks for bringing life to Paintball in Asia...you're the man!

Global Gutz has only a 5-member team who need to play 10 straight games for the elimination round (10 wins too) and 4 straight wins for the finals without a reliever thanks to Grace from the Global Pinay who serve as our lucky charm and assisted the needs of all the players. The weather is as hot as Manila. But nice huge field (hoping to have that big field soon). The refs are great Europeans and locals as well. Ref's in Taiwan not only officiate but cleaned the whole grounds and folded the inflatables...wow! hope to have them in PI too.

It's been a tough game really tough... the secret of the Pinoys that gained an advantage to equally good team! are the following:
1. A strong will to WIN! The burning desire to survive the games.
2. A strong discipline imposed on the Team. No drinking, early bed and
healthy food (Taiwan have the sweetest fruits we have tasted).
3. A team where there are no star players. They just work as a HIGH PERFORMING TEAM as brothers and as ONE.
4. They practiced as a Team, they were trained as a team and developed as a
TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More).

This proves that paintball is still a great TEAM SPORT.

5. " Know the Terrain, know the climate, know your strength and know your competitors and for sure you'll win in every battle".

6. Treat everygame as your last game and your best performance.

7. Never be intimidated. We all eat rice anyway. Not steel.

8. Learn from your mistakes.

9. Don't blame other teams that plays better than your team... learn from them instead, practice more and train more. You really don't know whom you'll be facing on the next tourney.

10. Lastly! have a good health. Be physically and mentally prepared...send a well motivated and trained army!

We are not the best Team yet. But we are working on it!

We are not the best Team yet. But we have God on our side.

We are just lucky. But we combined luck and work.

Thanks to my Team (Mayo- team captain, Britz- my only son, Noynoy- my adopted son, CJ- my young gun, and Kiko- I don't know where this good guy came from and Grace- my inaanak).
Special thanks to my wife! For taking good care of us.

Sorry! I just get overwhelmed...I love you guys!

Move On! Don't Cry!....Don't blame others for your failures...learn from them!

AND TO OUR BROTHERS IN ARMS...SEE YOU IN THAILAND SOON!

Special thanks to all Malaysian brothers who helped and supported us! We love you bros!

Hey all just keeping up with the site. Looks like the tourneys are getting better in Asia. Guam will hopefully be sending teams in the fall to participate. Here are some things happening on Guam:

We just finished Spring Season of the Guam Paintball League. The GPL board has also announced that the winner of the GPL fall season will be participating in the PALS in December so if all goes well we will send a team out. My hope is that we will have 2-3 teams flying out. Team Onslaught, one of the top teams of Guam, was just awarded a full sponsorship by Planet Exclipse which as far as I can tell includes full gear plus rumour has it that the sponsorship includes travel expenses to both the PALS and the NPPL. This is really big for the paintball community out here on Guam.

Guam's first Xball tournament will be underway this Saturday, June 9 at the Xsports field which is owned by Ric$ter if any of you remember him from Team Boonie Dog or as a swing player for Dynasty when they came to provide an exhibition match way back when. Professional refs Gilly & Russ from the UK are on island and bring with them the expertise of the World Cup, Millenium, and are pioneers in bringing Xball to Europe. Lastly, Team Boonie Dogs is back with some old faces and new faces . At this point it looks like the Boonies will be focusing primarily on Xball but I wouldn't be surprise if they show up in the PALS ready to play some NPPL format. I'll keep you guys posted.

I'd recommend they take a look at the Millennium Series rule book, as that is basis for the PALS rules. There are a few differences between PALS and NPPL rules.

I've heard how Millenium rulz are always changing...hehe....well I'm sure when the teams that are going to PALS are finalized their managers and captains will make sure they know all the rulz for the PALS. Hmm...do I even have Millenium on my board?

Hey Spyder as for the Div 1 or Div 2 you'll have to ask Ric$ter about it.

we are flexible on the ramping modes, in PALS players can use either the Millenium mode or the PSP mode.
