Info on maniac boards + etek solenoid.

This is for anyone in here with a star frame on their etek!!!!

Has anyone had any issues with the performance/consistancy changing when going to the ego board (maniac or other) with the new frame? Is your dwell still consistant. Any timing/ball delay issues due to the difference in guns?

Was it pretty much plug it in, set the dwell and play; or was it more complicated. Just trying to get myself ready for after my frame is milled.

I would appreciate any info you can give me.
Thanks all,

Hey all, this is not a "will the star frame fit my etek" thread. This is a legitamate tech advise thread on the star frame.

Please stop ignoring me....I know what needs to be done to make it fit and all, I just want to make my setup less problematic and quicker.

I simply set the dwell at 11.5, ti rammer and cure bolt and haven't really had any issues.

Setup:

06' ETek with Star Frame & Maniac Board
Cure Bolt
Ti Rammer
Bump LPR Piston
AKA 2 Liter

Input Pressure 230-240
Dwell 11.0
FPS 280
+/- 2
Crossy 68/45 HO

Hands down best marker on the field last time out. I'm still learning how to fine tune it. I play woodsball only... still waiting to try the air fields.

It was plug and play for me. No trouble with consistency or anything. I've only been running it for a couple weeks, but all is well.

Cool you guys are easing my mind.

Where is the fastest/cheapest if possible place to get it milled at?

Except doing it yourself, the only place I know, fast, cheap or otherwise is P8ntball4Less@aol.com.
