Question Bolt slams forward when aired up???

When I air up my Etek the bolt slams forward and air comes out of an exit port on valve manifold. Pull the trigger and the gun will not cycle. Can here the noid clicking.
I have lubed the rammer.

is the bolt in the rammer or in front of it? I know if it can shoot forward if not installed right.

sounds like a missing o ring on the ram, make sure you are using OIL on it too.

Yes, the bolt pin is in the rammer correctly.

The rammer also moves forward when the air is turned on.

All o-rings are on rammer in good condition and oil only.

Sounds like the common problem of a dry o-ring in the lpr. I know there are a lot of threads on it...shouldn't be hard to find.

does the rammer move forward and stick forward....if so then thats a rammer oring, change them all and relube and you should be golden

if the rammer rapidly shoots back and forward then it is an lpr problem solved by removing the lpr assembly from the gun and relubing/replacing the 14x2 nbr 70 orings on the back of the lpr body.

Yes, the rammer moves forward and stays there. I will change and oil the o-rings on the rammer tonight. I will let you all know if that works.

Thanks everyone.

Ok, here is what I found. I remove the rammer to replace all the o-rings. When I removed the front o-ring something down in the groove looked weird. There was a metal ribbon from the machining process curled around the rammer about 3 times that was under the o-ring.

I removed the metal ribbon, replaced all three o-rings and oiled them. Put the marker back together and aired it up. The bolt stay back where it belongs and the marker cycles fine. However, it is shooting a little inconsistent. I was thinking that maybe the groove might have been machined a little under size and front o-ring may not be functioning at optimal conditions.

if it's new, it'll be a little inconsistant anyway. Put 5+ cases on it, and you'll notice an improvement.
