Leak from somewhere?

Hey guys. I just got a fusion but when I aired it up, it had a leak. First it was the hose but that got fixed. Now it's leaking from the barrel area? If I push the bolt in a bit the leak seems to calm down but my friend said that there shouldn't be a leak even it I take the bolt out. Any ideas? I tried to describe the situation the best I can.

DP seems to cut their macro too long, causing leaks from the macro. It happened to me too

Happened to me. I ended up cutting the line and that fixed that leak.

the poppet is the valve of the marker. to get to it, take out the lpr (circle thing under the barrel) and then stick ur pinky in and take out the spring. on the spring there is a metal thingamabob with a o-ring on that. lube it and then lube the o-rings on the lpr body just to be safe.

Thanks for all the input. I'll try that out tomorrow cause I don't actually have any air left in the tank. (tested the leaking thing too much already).

It starts pretty much when you air it up. I tuned the psi to 0 then slowly raised it but as soon as air goes into the gun it starts to leak.

Bottom out both regs. Screw in tank, turn HPR to 250 psi, turn on marker with eyes off, turn LPR out 1 1/2 turns and dry fire. If you still have a leak its would say its either the popit or the valve. If you have taken the LPR apart make sure the popit it ALL the way in or it won't seal.

Well, I aired it up today and all is well. I'm pretty sure that lubing the poppet worked. Either that or when I put the poppet back in I actually put it in all the way. Thanks for all the help. Works fantastic now.

I know the problem was solved and the thread's pretty much dead, but if you don't have the bolt in the perfect spot when you air up, does it leak? On one of the Timmies I built, I had to jiggle the bolt until it was just right to keep it from leaking.

No it wont leak unless somthing else is wrong. You can take the bolt, ram cap and ram all out and you shouldnt hear any leaks.

I have the same leak as well (coming from the barrel area), but I can't get the LPR out. I cranked on it as hard as I could, but it would not budge. I even used one of those rubber gripper thingys that you use for opening jars and it still won't move. Rather than using pliers or something else that might scratch it, I thought that I'd ask here first. Any ideas?

It isn't slotted on the front for a screwdriver or maybe a quarter? I keep a pair of strap wrenches in my toolbox for things that get stuck. Is it big enough for a strap wrench to grip?

I had the same problem with being able to get the lpr out, but I just used the largest allen wrench that dp game me and loosened the lpr all the way and kept turning (counterclockwise). That gave me the leverage to get it out.
