O.K. Simmer down now boys and girls.
Midmanshocker........old news. not touching that one. My OPINION is mine.
Ear pieces.........Geez, again?
In my own opinion(bieng sponsored by JT) I don't think ANY of the JT earpieces offer adequate protection. That being said......
If you cut the ear pieces then you have just "modified" them. Hence, ILLEGAL. Majority of the reffs will look at them, and as long as they are close to the same specs as the "soft ear" version they will let you go.
MY rule of thumb is .......if I hold a soft ear to yours and yours is smaller, not only are you not playing, but I am taking your girl.
Can a ref tke a marker from a player during the game(while the palyer is still alive) to check for "ramp/bounce" and if he can/does is that player "netural?"
Not to be an ***, but .... spellcheck.
By the rules.....yes a reff can take a gun during a game. A reff can take a gun from you when he is on his lunch break walking threw the vendor area. You are required by the rules to surrender your marker to a reff at anytime. ON OR OFF THE FIELD!
If your not doing any shens, then why worry about it?
On the field...........
EXAMPLE - (PAY ATTENTION HERE!!!!) If I just happen to see a player holding his trigger back and the gun goes retarded(example- full auto). I AM PULLING THE GUN AND HIM.
If there is an overt(OBVIOUS, for you un-educated) infraction it boils down to a safety issue. I have seen this (full auto gun) and thank God it wasn't on a field I was working. If a reff questions a gun then most likely they will "tag" it to get checked after the game is over. Unfortunately, not all the reffs have the technology to check a gun during a game and rely on their own knowledge and that of the team of reffs they are working with.
What you will see is that a reff will question a marker during a game. Now as long as the gun doesn't go "Carlos Mencia"(if you ask I will slap you, a lot), then they will wait until the game is over and do a check on the marker.
Bad gun= 62nd place in a field of 43
Good gun= Movin on.
iSpace, sure as long as I get to kick you in the balls when you argue about the hit in your googles or the one on your hand or the one on your neck or the one on your loader or the one on your leg or the one on your reg or the one on your tank or the one on your back or the one on your.......(insert body part here).
PKANGEL - see above. A reff should not pull a gun during an active game. UNLESS ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ or something else.......maybe
over fps limits????????
Never say never.
I will not be reffing Tampa. I am trying to do something called "playing". It sucks. I get to not get shot up as much and get to sleep more and get to actually see all of my friends for a change.
How am I gonna cope?
Keep the questions coming.
