Ok, so back in November at Cup, I bought myself a black Grill with a smoke lense. My team mask is now olive Grills, which forced me to buy a new one. When I got it, I noticed a few differences. Although the differences are very slight, I found it interesting.

-Difference #1 - Side cut

I believe they did this to make the Grill profile a bit tighter. Notice in the black mask that the side is even and the Vforce logo is a bit bubbly. In the Olive, the bottom of the mask is set inward and the Vforce logo is flat.

-Difference #2 - Clips

This doesnt do anything but add to the look of the Grill. The clips that came out around WC are more appealing, where as the new ones are plain and don't go with the mask.

-Difference #3 - Strap

I don't have to explain this one. Anyone with experience with a Profiler or Grill knows the old Vforce strap that usually comes on the masks. Well, they have a new one.




Those are the differences that came to mind. Also, the bottom of the mask folds more than the old one. In person and when wearing both Grills, the Olive is a bit tighter profiler. The pics don't do much justice. Either way, don't come in here flaming, I found this interesting and decided to post it up. I don't know how long these changes have been in effect considering I got my first grill in November and my 2nd this past weekend.

Huh? Did they change the olive color??? The one I saw in a local shop (old model/first run) is pretty dark and it's almost light brown.


This one looks like it's mint green. Could you maybe snap a picture of the goggle with a white piece of paper next to it? This will help the camera to capture the colors better.

The Olive is more of a green. Its not lime, the lighting is ****ed in some of the pics, but the first two show it pretty well

Noticed these changes as well. I also noticed that the strap clips on my new one are easier to remove than my World Cup one.

No its not. The rigid/milled/cut clips are from World Cup

I swapped the clips because I like the rigid ones better and I'll only use my olive grill competitively now. (= Clips in pics are after the swap).

Hmm, I like the old clips more than the ones I have On the plus side, the new ones are easier to sticker up

Grills FTW! I own a black Grill and charcoal Profiler. VForce is hands down the best mask company I've used, JT fits too loosely and DYE fits too snug, its hard to breathe in Invisions. I can't wait for the mirror lenses to come out, I'm having trouble deciding whether to settle for a smoke lense or not.

i have the smoke lense and am not satisfied with it. not dark enough. im waiting for mirrored lenses.
