when i had my 06 ego,
i took the reg apart and there were 17 shims
then i put 16 back in the correct way and my reg was wayyyy less consistent.
lol why would that happen?

so basicly there should be a gap between every shim set and there should be a gap between the bottom and top shim.

Its the same both ways. The left could be the top of the shim stack, or the right. And yes, it should be the same for the SL66.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's not that easy to damage your gun. If the shims are in wrong, your velocity will be inconsistent and might be in a range that is too high or too low and that is what could possibly damage the reg seat or noid. But for the most part, it'll just be a pain in the *** when you're chronoing.

no it wont damage your gun or the reg for that matter...your velocity may be a little less inconsistent...but for the most part it almost dosent matter if you have just one shim in the wrong way

wouldnt it be pretty hard to misplace them considering there would either be 3 stuck together or it wouldnt make that exact shape.
