Yes they can but you need to figure out a way to mount the air source onto the gun. Can be tricky but it can be done with a custom T/L stock. I looked into getting a custom made P stock at one time so I can fit a 45/45 under the stock.

Of if you get someone to make you a custom rail so you can mount a vertical 12 gram changer on it, you can play stock class with a stock.

Here's mine with an adjustable air system on it

Now it has a female PPS Stablizer on the gripframe so I can screw in any tank I want instead of using an adjustable air system.

Old one's The parts were hard to come by...But with the new STP parts are all over..Its one of the best Pump's ever made....I have used them all...
Its Lighter then a Sniper..Shoots just as good
Feels better then the CCI...i think CCI are to light and hate the way they cock
Cost less then a CCM......CCM is a top notch gun,,Sterling is 1/2 the price an just as good if not better.

Lots of Pro's in my book....Cons Are easily fixed...

but you need to cite the info or your violating copyright law, and its unethical to copy something in the first person when your not the one who wrote it

just link it and put you own take on it

I hear that sterlings are about the same efficiency as a good nelson valved gun, like a Phantom. apparently the pump stroke is better than most every other pump out there... I'd love to get my hands on one.

The pump stroke is amazingly smooth. The whole gun is nice but the pump stoke is so much better then any other pump I have owned

The stock barrel on the new Sterlings is pretty nice. Loud and a bit to short for my taste, but all it all its shots well. The fact that the new sterlings come with spyder threads makes finding a new barrel a breeze in case you dont like the stock barrel.

The stock barrel is quite large bored. In my opinion you pretty much need a barrel kit for it. I had a Freak Kit with a Phantom and Sniper (cocker) back already, so I just picked up a Spyder back and all is good.

I recently traded my Sterling for a Palmers SS, but man was it nice. Older, right hand feed with the sterling threads, but the stock barrel was good enough!

Pump Stroke was as smooth as an oiled down strippers ***, er, at least, that's what I've been told

If I ever get the chance for another one, I'll snatch it up. One of the changeable feeds though
