I don't think you can do much to it. some people put something inbetween the two pieces that hit and say it is quieter but I can't tell a difference. When you were fireing was it in saftey? if it was then thats why it changed other wise I don't know.

that was probably it running out of batteries or it might be the chip that regulates it to 12 bps.

I bought a new one at radioshack for about $3.00. I think they are 50g switches and they are pretty good. I don't know why the frame eats batteries. It is normal for jt's.

on the 6.0 its beause of the handy dandy feature nobody ever uses, the LCD Talking command center. it has to eat batteries to scroll your name, count your shots, light up, and last but not least.. talk to you.. thats why your batteries don't last long.

Thats if u choose to use those options, the board is just programed weird, if u try a 9v on a spyder board u get only around 800 shots when the JT gets around 2000-3000 shots, Try a 9.6 rechargeable battery.

get high pressure. low pressure is 500psi and under, your gun requires atleast 650 to fire at 280fps

Hammer S/F ?

I'm not a JT owner, but I need some info on them, are they slim strikers or fattys? In other words, can I use a JT velocity adjuster on a fatty style Spyder?

I'm having the same problem with the bolt not recocking and the farting sound. Earlier (JasonsLan) you said that there might be rust behind the valve. What things would I need to be able to fix the rust issue? More over, how specifically would I go about accomplishing this?

I'm not really sure this is the problem, but I haven't take out the internal valve to check it either. On the 6.0 is there anything specific I need to know prior to attempting to remove the valve? While I have the valve out would it be beneficial for me to just replace it with a different valve to help with this issue?

you really should make sure everything is well lubed (not over lubed that can cause resistance as well and give you the same problem you're having) make sure you're not starving your marker of air also.

Here's what I've been able to figure out on it. It is an air flow problem.

I'm able to get it to recock if I do one of three things:
1. use Co2
2. it needs paint in the chamber
3. change the internal spring

The problem with all this is that it is not consistent. I can get it to do it once, but then I can't effectively reproduce the same result the next time I try it. I'm debating on whether or not to go get an aftermarket valve to install just to see if it changes the airflow and consistency.
