the front banjo screw in the ion was completely stripped so my friend bought a SITH frame. I cut the front off where the reg screws in. In theory it works but i need a tube with an interior diameter of 3/32 to fit over the larger ion air barb.
I have the rear connected and middle line connected. I also took a stock ion board and attached it to a timmy noid and that worked quite amazingly. But the stock timmy noid it was too large to fit the ion frame. Once I get the tube then I could post video. But I think it'll be nice to have an Ioned timmy, I actually like the Ion frame.

This timmy clone has a delrin bolt and adjustable end cap.
The body is an Air Soldier Products body.

To be completely honest I like it, if the frame was black and you had a decent pair of grips I would absolutely love it. I think I going to do this to a fasor. I guess the ion frame looks pretty good on guns other than the ion.

okay

there are two setups. one is the stock ion board and stock ion noid. the other setup is stock timmy noid and stock ion board. In that picture is all stock ion parts. the timmy noid doesn't fit ion trigger frame with out heavy dremeling.

That hose out the back is kind of necessary.

I will paint it all black at the end, the tigger frame had all paint removed by previous owner.

wait...the ion is a basic spool valve and the timmy is a basic poppit valve...how?...it would be like a large dog and a flying squirrel having a mutated squirrelman shephard baby...

noids do not work the same.
the ion noid provides constant air to firing can and when the trigger is pulled air flow is cut off for the bolt return.
actually the firing can air in can be completely redirected from the noid never having contact with the noid. it never changes and the noid never affects it.
not sure how a timmy works but im assuming that on trigger pull you want air flow to push the bolt forward to hit the poppet and no airflow when the trigger is not being pulled.
ion noid has default air on and cuts off air flow for trigger pull.
air flow is STOPPED for durration of dwell. not the other way around.
I havent made one though and if it works it works.
cant figure out how cause i havent gutted a timmeah.
gonna be anymore specific on the internals and air flow?

dcent, a poppit valve gun is like a better spyder. the bolt is attached to a ram by the bolt pin, once the trigger cycle starts, the ram and bolt are pushed forward, where the bolt pushes the ball out of the breech area. when the ram strikes the pin of the poppit valve, the air flow is allowed into the valve chamber and the air flows into the bolt, then out of the face of the bolt, propelling the ball down the barrel. most modern guns are poppit valves: Ego, Angel, Intimidator, Cyborg, Wrath, Autocockers, etc. which is why i cannot understand how you will be able to run an ion frame on a timmy, ive taken both apart, theres no room for the timmy noid and electronics in the ion frame because of the banjo fittings. so unless you plan on doing some extreme, hardcore metal cutting, you will have a hell of a time.

look at a standard ion frame, i have already done extensive metal cutting. i haven't bought one micro line because its longer and slightly larger than the other lines. i am not 100 percent sure it works with the ion noid, but the other setup with ion board timmy noid worked fine but didn't fit in the frame. i may look around for a frame i like then mod it to fit, like a angel 90* or something i like.
