yeah, 3 days until the people that get your marker get it. then....angelparts.com has to do their famous check it out and trigger job, then test it...then they have to pack it...then they have to ship it, then it has to go across the country...then if you just happen to be home when the ups/fedex guy shows up you just might get your marker on the 24th or 25th or 26th!!!! aaaaaah!

2 questions:

1 - are the 5 firing modes:

SENSI off
SENSI on short delay
SENSI on medium delay
SENSI on long delay
SENSI on forced mode

I don't get "5 firing modes" while it is still only semiauto. Otherwise, what are those modes?

2 - TheAngelGuy was claiming on angel-owners.com that the minireg will only take a 450-500 psi input. I find this hard to believe, as regulating pressure down is the whole job of the minireg. I just can't see having to buy a new tank or a secondary regulator to make up for this--anyone who got one in Vegas either see this in the manual or have problems with a higher input pressure?

Thanks!

Answer to #2 from Frazer himself:

--------------------------------

The reg is set to take low pressure input it can be re sprung for HP
gas, but best performance is from about 450 to 500 psi going into the
mini reg.

All the best,
Frazer Colley,
frazer@wdp-paintball.com

--------------------------------

I wrote back, asking if re springing the reg means just adding to the spring stack, but it looks like an adjustable or low pressure tank is the best bet.

Damn, that sucks. I guess though, if I buy it from TAG I can have him set it up for a high pressure screw in.

I'm heavily considering just getting a THOR inline reg. Many times I'm stuck playing where HPA isn't available and have to have multiple tanks. I don't want to buy new tanks that then won't work with my other guns. If I get a THOR I can set it for 500 and just use it as a screw in cradle.

Yeah, you're right there. Although if this minireg acts anything like my LAST minireg, it'll be dumped for a new one in no time.

Hopefully, if all else fails, I'll have a gladiator to use instead (BlackOmegaPBall, are you listening?).

well what about the centerflag 450 preset? is there any downside to that if thats what the minireg wants? sounds like a pretty good solution to me

Why not just pick up a used adjustable? I just picked up a used Maxflow that doesn't need hydro until 2007.

Oi

Dont fret ! If this the case then get a minireg springstack from any WDP service centre and switch it so you can regulate down from 800psi. Make sure you screw the velocity screw all the way in tho and work your way up from there in order to avoid damage.

I've got extra disks for the spring stack, so I was thinking about that. The only thing is, I don't know what "decreased performance" is. I need to be able to use multiple tanks, as I play where HPA is not available sometimes and need multiple tanks full to make it. I thought about scuba, but a 75 dollar PMI THOR is alot cheaper in the long run. Believe me, I was thinking a Maxflo or an AIR, but it's just not a flexible solution.

I've been working with angels since the V6 and worked at the WDP booth on a couple European tournys. I suggest to try it first and if it wont work we figure it out I see no reason why it wouldnt work since there is no starving and no drastic modifications.

bottom line is it should work!

Dont forget to have the velocity screw fully screwed in and build it up from there. We dont want things go "POP" do we :

Here ya go

1. Yes opto trigger

2. Yupp as far as you got the input at 400-500psi or have a HP springstack

3. Its default 30bps and you cannot adjust it

4. You can win the lottery too with those odds
