Ehh, I am not that impressed with this new angel.

WDP is turning into Kingman with all these angels that are basically the same.

The old LED's are just as good as ANY angel up to this date if properly tuned to perfection.

I hope WDP makes this new new gun though...

O yea, I love angels and no offense towards them

Don't you mean more like Bob Long? And to a certain extent I disagree, I think as long as the quality stays up, they should by all means keep coming out with new designs, it gives the consumers more variety to choose from.

The point here is that they are not new designs genius. I don't know what you mean about Bob Long... he didn't make that many different timmies.

WDP should have just came out with the new board to put in the LCD. They probably made it so you can't though.

I like the mrof of 30 and the efficiency, but low pressure is a gimmick.

To those saying WDP is like Bob Long or Kingman: What are you talking about?

You have:

LED - The original
LCD - New internals(14-way, ram) and an LCD screen. Generally improved on the LED, basically "Angel v2.0"
IR3 - 90 deg. frame, COPS, new internals, gated feed, IR technology
Speed - Gave the people what they wanted. IR3, but with the "flip a switch and go" of the LED. External adjustment on trigger, updated COPS system

The only one I can give you any agreement on is the speed, since it's mostly an IR3 without the LCD panel, but even then how many people have complained about the LCD screen and how they just wanted something they could turn on and go with.

All the different millings are just cosmetic choices. WDP has been very restrained.

What he meant by the Bob Long comment is the fact that the 2k2, Dragon,Lasoya, and Storm are all pretty much the exact same gun with different milling and different boards. He has not improved the gun in any way and on top of that there is a $300 mark up between the 2k2 and dargon. Whereas WDP has actually developed new ideas (Cops, IR, space frame, opto trigger, etc).

Sorry, that wasn't directed at the post directly above me...thought I quoted someone. I was talking to those saying that WDP were bringing out all kinds of new guns like BL or Kingman.

I'll update my post.

i dont know about u guys..
but the players on my team love their lcd screens

we all set the timer on them..

it has saved our game so so many times.

its not like it is that hard to hold a button down to get to shoot it.

i mean dont get me wrong, some stuff is completly useless.. like the temperaturem etc.

If low pressure is done correctly then its not a gimmick, that is to say low pressure resulting from efficient parts Viking, excaliber, merlin etc..
And if a low bolt pressure means I chop less paint I'm a happy camper!

would someone just hurry up and get one... i want to hear a personal owner's opinion ... i think that making these assumptions are simply a waste of time. hear from someone that has the bravery to buy one and/or try it out. thats my theory, and i plan to stick with it.

to u all saying wdp hasnt done anything to improve their guns. stop pulling stuff outa your ***. as for the others saying the speed is just an ir3 with simple electronics, are u kidding me??? look at EVERYTHING it has. ALL NEW internals with NO snap ring adjustments. LP operation. doesnt do squat for real performance but it does make the gun quieter AND i guarantee the speed will be able to pinch paint. my ir3 pinched paint about 2/3s of the time the bolt caught the paintball when i wasnt using cops2 while testinig my egg2. that was at 90psi. imagine 60. so we have an all new low pressure design, externally adjustable trigger, software up to 30bps which increases the acheivable user rof, dual ball detents so we can finally start using the halo b to keep up with the beast, an all new paint detection system that probably will smoke anything out there including cops2, and finally a SWEET and simple display and switch and go operation so u dont have to scroll through those darn modes only to find you accidentally skipped the one u wanted to get to. so after i just listed all those USEFUL advancements some of u are still going to say "oh its still an angel on the inside?" either way u are crazy cuz even before the speed angels ruled for reliability and tied every other gun out there for performance.

hey, jw but can you please explain how sensi works???? in the video it is skipping shots but still shooting dry shots. this leaves room for a potential chop. so does it still work like cops2 where theres just a delay???? if so thats a disappointment to me. they shoulda made it so it ONLY shoots when a ball is present in the breach. im not exactly sure how sensi works, can you please explain it??? how does the manual say it works???

I've had more time to play with the speed. Sensi WAS NOT ON.

it is NOT a 2 piece barrel. There is like a plastic/rubber piece that 'shrouds' the back of the barrel.
