I am very curious why half of you people want a so called HE bolt? the stock mini bolt is HE.

my setup
-68/4500 tank
-reg set to one tick below 200
-dewll 24
-oversized barrel to paint match
-280FPS crono
=one case per tank fill, or on average 1000 psi per 500 paintballs

this is by far the best efficiency i have ever had with a paintball gun.

as for upgrades i would like to see:
-clamping feed neck adjuster thumb screw instead of allen key screw.
-on/off or a standardization for the use of air pathway into the grip so that future markers could benefit from the mini's innovations.

think about it, you could have company's making after market drop forwards with air channels and a standard gun hook up. as well you could use your stock mini reg with said drop forwards as opposed to buying a new one. or even having after market reg's available for the mini using a standard hookup.

This may sound far fetch but as the older folks remember there was once a time when the ASA was a new invention that every manufacturer included in the next generation of guns.

I would buy it, sounds very sweet. Just make sure it has extremely good recharge, has an on/off and bleed feature incorporated, and that it is lighter and you'd have a very nice product on your hands.

mostly, i found if you scrpae the cap insides a bit with an old dental pick it frees them up a bit, they occasionally get sticky, so i unscrewed them a turn and they are very good, but i might get new detents for show, and so i know that there is no chance of stickiness

..... most vikings and matrixes get that same amount. I too get that same amount off those settings on my mini.

you'd get that from a gen-e matrix if it had an evolve gold bolt. other than that, it was pretty terrible from my experiences. like a 3-4 pod difference, but thats really not on topic now is it?

I'm still in the process of reverse engineering the mini. I've got the entire stock bolt assembly recreated, and then its a matter of fine tuning air volumes, sealing surfaces, etc. As we found when I was working with stage 5.1s at lucky, a few 1/1000" can mean the difference between the best feeling marker you've ever held and a paperweight. The ability to change orings and use either thicker ones, or stretch smaller ones to fit helps, but if I release something, I want it to be as user friendly as possible.

Guys, my original post was not to say that the mini was the most efficient marker in the world. only that the mini is up there with the more efficient markers and does not require an HE kit.

If someone could make a kit that gets more shots per tank then all the power to them, more is always better. I just don't think its going to be happening
(if someone does make one that works you will see my full apology)

plastic UL shaped frame. If not UL shaped then just regular but in plastic. I'm also wondering how sturdy a plastic foregrip would be ... might be a problem because of housing the board and potential for slight twisting.

Now now, no need for plastic. A "ul" shaped frame is a bit harder than it sounds, simply because it either must be identical, or custom grips must be made, and the shape makes it very expensive to get grip molds made.

I have some designed drawn up on paper, and once I have the chance to get all the 100% exact measurements made, I will begin translating these into cad drawings and I will post what I have.

I have also contacted Invert about working with them to ensure the highest quality parts, but we will see if they are willing to do so.

if you make a grip frame make it so it takes standard 45 grips. Its easier for the grip selection. Sort of like what Jackal and Ans did with their 90's

Nylon or some other hard light bolt, perhaps with a softface like the warped sports angel bolts, softer spring, lower pressure(i know its low but why not a little more.) And maybe a 90* frame?

Just guessing here but would a 'softer' bolt not wear down and perhaps no longer hold the smaller end of the spring in place on the bolt?
