What Would Happen If I Swithed Regs On My Imp And Ion?

PIC: http://upload7.postimage.org/664733/photo_hosting.html

I was just wondering what would happen if i put my impulse max flo on my ion, and my ion reg on the imp.

What do you think?

nothing will happen thats bad... they look a little odd. i believe both regs are pretty consistent. almost all regs and guns are compatible with each other.

Not true...The ions reg..isnt very consistant..its more of a on/off pressure valve...go look it up..night mare stories about them on other guns

it cant be too bad. its the same reg on the nxts. if its an on/off valve, how does it regulate 800psi air from a tank down to 230 psi?

The ION regulator is not a true pressure regulator, but is a regulated ON-OFF.

From the people in white coats over at aka..the low pressure experts...The same people who make the most used regs in the world..side winders..and 2 liters =)

maybe a look at ZDSPB.com can clarify as to whether it is a reg or not

http://www.zdspb.com/tech/mguide/regs/main_ionreg.html

looks like a reg, works like a reg, and is the same as whats on a higher end gun,
so it must be a reg

as far as switching regs
you'd have a good reg on a pop-gun and a crappy reg on a mans gun

Your Imp would start shooting with a higher pitch sound because you just removed it's testicles.....

Thats exactly what I plan to do with the Ion Im getting so I can use co2 with it more safely. The original maxflo is probably the best co2 reg ever made...IMO of course.

The ion reg will be safe on the imp, you always have your prv

My buddy has an ion reg on his was'd impulse with i frame and complete NDZ internals, LPR tuned correctly. shooting the marker on unlimited ramping he gets NO shootdown.... thats as fast as any impulse can fire, and the ion reg worked fine.

From smart parts, the Ion reg is their newest and best on the market.....
wich would seem to say its an upgrade from a maxflow.

I cant compare any of the smartparts regs to non smart pars regs, other than to say, look at my setup....
